"I spent two nights hear so saw lots of different staff and they was all amazing. I had the single room which is probably only a few inches off been a double, so great. I had two evening meals which were both fantastic and also fantastic value for money. But the breakfast is the show stopper for me. If you like a full English you will love this hotel"

"Mark , his wife and team create a friendly atmosphere where nothing is too much of a problem. My only criticism would be the standard of the croissants and danish pastries. they never looked fresh and appetising, the croissants were very bready, I will let you off the fruit selection because the whole country suffers from that!!!"

"We had a perfectly good stay at the Dog and Partridge, but the accommodation didn’t transpire to be what we expect. We were anticipating a cozy room, in a country pub setting but, in reality, the D&P offers good value, chalet-style family rooms, each with it’s own car port, in a large area behind the pub itself. The pub itself has a nice enough bar, and offers fair evening meals, with a home-cooked feel, and a very good continental breakfast selection, or cooked options for just £6 extra. This...

"Fantastic locals pub with lots of atmosphere, great food. Can't speak highly enough of the village of Ashover, and the surrounding area. The rooms are a little small but its what you expect for a pub of that age. Definately a 5 star stay."

"We enjoyed our time at the Bulls Head. We checked in after a long travel day and enjoyed supper in the restaurant. The atmosphere and food were great. We had a good nights sleep and enjoyed a great breakfast in the morning. There is a pub about 15 mins away also called the Bulls Head and we ended up taking the scenic route to get here because of a bad google maps entry on our behalf. "
