"Property was not cleaned very well. Two week stay and no change of towels or bedding - had to take time out to clean them ourselves. Wifi did not work - was told it was because of the weather and then it came to light it was the owners account issue (sounded like this was not news) and was never fixed in the two weeks. Because the Wifi was not available there was no Smart TV. Outside area was not one to use and had not been cleaned for a long time. Damp smells in some of the rooms. General...

"Villa Bohinca is set in a beautiful location with stunning views. The facilities were modern and clean with easy access to Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj. The villa was well equipped and presented just as shown in the photographs. Can certainly recommend as a place to stay. "

"Eine gute Zeit in einem schönen Haus. Der See hat bei der Hitze für Abkühlung gesorgt, die Bar war gut für kühle Getränke und kleine Snacks. Wichtig zu wissen: die Durchgangsstraße macht einen früh wach, gerade wenn dir Fenster offen sind. Kajaks vom Haus sind gut geeignet für die erkundung des Sees. "

"Wer die Ruhe liebt, findet hier den perfekten Ort. An heißen Tagen zudem kühl und schattig. Der Bach ist ein Spielparadies für Kleinkinder oder einfach zum Abkühlen nach einer Wanderung. Der Ort Kana( 2km Weg) hat eine sehr gute Bäckerei und ein Restaurant mit einem hervorragenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und super leckerem Essen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. "

"Nice apartment, very warm vwelcome from the host. All the local ammenities explained. Irena reserved our dinners in the nice local restaurants. All together very nice stay, and we will return for a more walks around Vipava valley."

"We stayed in the Home Away From Home for 2 nights as a couple. Communication with the landlord before our arrival was perfect, although the lady who was expecting us onsite to give us the key sopke almost no English. The place is exactly as shown on pictures, absolutely clean, kitched well equipped for basic meal preparation. The house is in a quiet area and have a nice balcony to relax and have meals there. I can highly recommend the place."

"Best in the last few years"

"This was my second stay at their beautiful place, but won't be my last. The place and surroundings are extremely relaxing, but the best part is the wonderful HOSTS. They are extremely kind, funny to chat with, knowledgeable, and always willing to help out if you need to know something. I can't recommend this place highly enough! "

"We spent a wonderful week in this lovely decorated, tidy and well-equipped holiday home with a large garden and magnificent views to the green valleys of the Karst, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Karmen and Ivo, our very friendly hosts, gave us a warm and generous welcome and made us feel at home immediately. "We had the best time at The Captain’s Lodge! The lodge is very clean and cozy! The location is absolutely perfect! We were able to walk to everything. Right across the street is a place to rent bikes and a bike trail to the lake/restaurants. Communication/check in and check out were very easy! We enjoyed every minute and we were sad to leave! We totally recommend staying here!!"

"The property is located on a small street and there is almost no view of anything except the building across the street and there are way too many levels to negotiate. I was OK, but older people will find this inconvenient. The rooms are of a good size, very clean, with veranda. Not really kid safe because of open electrical outlets that kids can get into. Plenty of free parking. "
