This cottage gets an A+ for location and views! We loved our stay here and would definitely book it again. The cabin was roomy, nicely furnished, and acceptably clean. The parking and access ramp to the cabin were good, too.
That said, the furnishings in the cottage need a little TLC and a bit of upkeep. Small things like missing lightbulbs, a broken lamp in the living room, and some outdoor furniture that looked too wobbly to even attempt sitting in. Nothing that kept us from thoroughly enjoying our stay, but I put this out there for the cottage owners to be aware that there are minor issues that need to be addressed. Also, there is no WIFI (they state this up front) except at the restaurant in the marina. But the entertainment system is fine, with plenty of premium channels and every room has a TV.
We loved the restaurant and bar at the marina (TRY THE FRIES) and walking along the edge of the marina, looking at the boats and the lake. It was very windy while we were there, and no one was boating much during our stay. It would have been fun to watch the boats on the lake, but the lake itself is quite beautiful and very relaxing to sit and watch the water.
We enjoyed the outdoor (gas) fire pit very much.
This is a great central location for visiting the Pioneer Woman Mercantile in Pawhuska, and also for visiting various places in Tulsa (like the Aquarium--go see it!). Definitely recommend this one for your next trip to OK.
