Amazing view!
We (family with 7yo) had a wonderful time at this property! Gorgeous view, had everything we needed, away from the bustle but near some great spots like Fish Pot, Orange Street Grocer, and Caboose. Linda (owner) and Hugh (caretaker) were friendly and responsive. (Just a note that there is street noise because it’s right on the road, but that didn’t bother us.) A wonderful spot!

Perfect place in perfect location
We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at Sea Spray Villa. The balcony was the perfect place to relax for a meal any time of the day and a wonderful spot to watch the sun set. We loved the low-key neighborhood, being able to snorkel off the house at low tide and chill on the neighboring beach in the mornings. Heywoods Beach in Speightstown (just a 5 min drive or 30 min walk) was our favorite spot in the afternoon for snorkeling and having a fish cutter at The Caboose. Bratty's (just a 10 min walk down the street) was a great local place for the fresh catch of the day and a beer. The owners and caretaker are very easy to reach and made this a terrific experience from start to finish.

Paradise off the beaten path
We had a wonderful stay at the property in Half Moon Fort. The neighborhood is very Bajan, with a small(!) store nearby. There is also a local fish market very close, and the fish we bought there was awesome (and cheap). You do want to have a car in order to visit some of the Barbados sites. Nearby Speightstown has a row of bars celebrating the sunset every night. The very near FishPot is good for a splurge - it is pricey. The best part? The access to the water and sounds of the waves. We snorkeled daily (in the rain/sun) and the areas just south of the property were as good as what we experienced elsewhere in the island. The water is very clear, and the view from the balcony is superb. Bring binoculars!

Beautiful Location
The first impression when we walked through the front door and saw the view from the balcony was "WOW" and that did not change from the first day to the last. We love being by the ocean and that is exactly what we got. Communications with the owner were excellent and the property manager was charming. For various reasons (mainly my partners health) we will not be returning to Barbados but if we did we would definitely consider staying at Sea Spray Villa again

Amazing location! WHAT A VIEW!
From the moment we booked our stay, Les and Linda were in contact with us, very informative. They even checked in with us while we were at their Villa to see if we needed anything. Wonderful people and Marcia the property manager met us at the Villa to give us keys and great tips on places to visit. Villa is literally on the beach, steps right in to the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Snorkeling was great, even saw a couple turtles! We were even treated to the most beautiful rainbows 🌈! We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful Villa with amazing views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Seaspray Villa. We rented the top unit only and it was everything we hoped for. The owner is great at communicating. She arranged our ride to and from the airport. We also rented a car through them which was extremely convenient. This villa is located in a quieter area with only a few businesses in close walking distance but it made for a peaceful experience and we just used the car rental to venture out. We do not have any complaints about this property and highly recommend others to rent through them.

Comfortable Villa, close to most of the action
Nice clean, well equipped villa (internet access, ipod dock...we listened to Pandora while sipping rum punch on the balcony!). AC was a nice touch on warm nights & when the sun was pounding. Close to Holetown with its many restaurants and also to the scenic North coast. Nice beaches near by. Tricia, property manager, was very helpful/accomodative. One negative was the neighbors dog that barked a couple of nights. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Million dollar view!!
Our family just returned from Barbados and had an absolutely fantastic time! The location of this home was perfect! We were able to walk to a few restaurants, but also cook/bbq in the comfort of a home, which is especially useful with children. The balcony was certainly a highlight. We spent mornings enjoying coffee and playing cards with the kids, and evenings sipping on wine. The sound of the waves would lull us to sleep every night. Theresa would check in with us regularly, and was especially helpful in organizing a dinner extravaganza for us in Bridgetown. We rented a car so it made exploring the island much more convenient. We would highly recommend this home away from home :)...Paul and Jasmine Mathew

Amazing property!!!!
If you come here you will love it... the photos promoting the villa are great but the place when you get there is soooo much better, the view from the balcony is to die for! So easy to get around the island from here as there’s a bus stop right by which is an experience in itself and when you come back you feel you can get away from it all and chill. The fish pot 2 minutes walk away serves tasty food at an expense or drop into moontown and there’s ‘take away food’ that’s tasty at a great price While there the owners phoned twice to check all was going well which was nice and Natalie was brill and really helpful when called upon! The little bay down the side of the villa is a hidden gem for snorkelling and is full of cool fish including puffa fish, octopus, eels to name just a few... so to sum up can’t fault it and will definitely be going back!!!!

Amazing.
This was my fourth trip to the island, as I come every February. I can honestly say this was the best spot I have stayed. If you are looking for a very chill location that has everything you need, this is the spot for you. The condo is clean, well equipped and close to everything. The snorkeling right out of the condo is amazing. St. Elmo's right up the road has everything you need and the Fish Pot was good. However, make reservations as they don't take walk-ins. Make sure you reserve early and they actually write your info down. This was the only hiccup of our trip, twice. However, that certainly has nothing to do with the condo and there are plenty of places in Speightstown to eat and if you want to take a bus you can go to Hometown for more options. Can't wait to go back next year.

Wonderful Place to Stay on Barbados
Seaspray at Half Moon Fort is the perfect place to stay on Barbados. The deck overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea provides awesome sunsets and a wonderful opportunity to look right down into the sea and through the crystal clear water you can see the fish and coral below. Your own access to the water is a great way to cool off or stroll two minutes to virtually your own beach. The owners have provided all the amenities: a full kitchen, washer and dryer, ceiling fan (though with the wonderful breezes it was hardly needed), a/c in the bedrooms, even WIFI if you want to stay connected. The apartment was clean and well kept. A quick walk you are at the local market for most of your needs. There is an oceanfront restaurant (Merton’s) across the street from the little market serving fresh fish which was delicious. There is access to public transportation to get to almost anywhere on the island. Seaspray is away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts yet convenient to the necessities. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else, it was the perfect choice.

Seaside bliss
Upon our arrival at the lower level, the stunning view of the ocean, the abundant vegetation and the coziness of the patio combined to provide an overwhelming sense of relaxation. We had spent the previous weeks on the busy south coast, and we immediately felt any remaining tension dissolve completely. The property is clean, it is well furnished and it lives up to its description. Linda the owner was very attentive, contacting us by email and phone to make certain that our stay was enjoyable. We very much enjoyed the snorkelling, accessing the water via the private stairway: we kept going back to the beautiful coral reefs that were teaming with tropical fish, with occasional sightings of turtles. Although the owners recommend a car, we managed fine by taxi, bus and by foot: the nearby grocery and bar are 5 minutes away by foot, and the excellent Fish Pot restaurant is a ten minute walk. Buses are cheap and frequent, providing an unexpected reggae experience. And the locals are warm and welcoming: Barbados is indeed a paradise. We very much recommend this property, and are looking forward to returning next year.

Fantastic Coastal location
We had a great time at your villa. The location was nice being away from all the hustle but only a 10 min bus ride away from Speightstown. Fantastic weather and great water. We were able to swim right from the villa. Snorkeling was great right out in front of our villa. We were able to access Animal flower cave in under 25 mins. It is a must see location on the island. The tour around the island was also a great way to spend a day. We also organized the Harbor Lights event and the pickup from the villa was great. The local transit is a must to try. The ZR vans are quick and the music is lively on the quick ride to Speightstown. The fish pot restaurant is only about a 4 min walk south of the villa. Great breakfasts and dinners. The Villa had all the utensils we needed for cooking at home. The bedrooms were great with the A/C and the nice sea breezes at night. The feeling of the waves crashing on the coral were just an added bonus. Theresa was great organizing all of our events. She was quick to respond to any of our requests. Thank you for a great vacation!

Lovely Villa for an Island Getaway
I stayed in late April with my mother, and we both enjoyed the villa very much, There were no steps inside, which was helpful for my mother. We both enjoyed being on the balcony with the ocean views, especially in the cooler mornings. The villa is located on the northwest part of the island in St Lucy, a more rural area, but lovely, where you can get a real taste of local life. We rented a car and toured several places on the north part of the island (Animal Flower Cave, Bathsheba, Wildlife Preserve, 2 botanical gardens) and went to the Earthworks Pottery. The Bajans are all so friendly. The villa is equipped with everything you need: we packed lunches for the beach (I had brought a soft-sided cooler) and cooked small dinners most nights. The beach towels and umbrellas provided were super helpful. Visitors may want to bring water shoes as some of the beaches are a bit rocky. We went to Gibbes Beach twice and Schooner Bay in Speightstown to find places with fewer ocean rocks. If you gauge it right, dipping into the ocean via Sea Spray's cove is quite delightful. Theresa was there to orient us and provided useful information upon arrival and departure. The owners checked in several times, which was nice -- very helpful if you need assistance during your stay. I think Sea Spray Villas was a great choice: lovely views and good amenities.

Amazing place right on the waters edge
I enjoyed my stay at this very clean, nicely furnished, and decorated place. The location being right at the waters edge provides a great view of the ocean. Steps lead you down to the water into a mini-cove where you can swim and snorkel. The furnishings provide for a comfortable stay. Bedrooms have private baths with showers which is an extra comfort and time-saving features for travelers. The living area was spacious and open from which a view of the ocean can been seen through wide french doors. The kitchen is supplied with nice cookware and enough extras to cook a meal. A serious chef would want to bring basic items such as spices, oil, etc. Overall the place is very nice. I felt I got good value in the stay. From the apartment you can walk a short distance to a quiet sandy beach and a few roadside places at Moontown where you can sit down for a simple meal and drink a beer. A small shop is supplied with enough for purchase of what you would need to get by on a short trip. You can take a local bus a short distance to Speightstown which has a some bars, restaurants and stores. There are also some nice resorts not too far that you can drop into for a fancy dinner or sit at the bar and hear a band play. The next closest town is Holetown which is not too far to travel by bus. I found that getting around with local transport was fairly convenient with a bus stop just next to the apartment where both smaller vans and larger buses come by. Being on the north side you are away from the activity of Bridgetown. However, you do have access to some attractions such as flower caves, St. Nicolas Abbey rum distillery and a few others. The owners Les and Linda were very helpful and responsive.

Great Views, Relaxing, Everything You Need
WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE SEA SPRAY VILLA! My wife and I stayed here from May 2 - 12. We chose this property for the terrific balcony, and we were not disappointed. The ocean view is spectacular. You are so close to the water you can literally feel it when a big wave hits the rocks. The villa had everything you need in the kitchen. The AC in the master bedroom is VERY strong. We did not use the 2nd bedroom so I cannot speak to the AC in that room. The bed was very comfortable. And they provided quality linens. The living are furniture was also of good quality and very comfortable. And the wifi was fast and dependable. A nice widescreen tv that we never even turned on. And they have a very large washer and dryer on site. The villa has a terrific breezeway that keeps the living area very comfortable. We spent hours on the balcony reading, watching and listening to the birds, drinking coffee, having breakfast, lunch and dinner, watching the passing boats, etc. The owners, Les and Linda were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. They were very responsive with all of our inquiries. And Natalie was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the local feel of this location. Like most of Barbados the tourists are mingling with the locals, unlike many other islands where tourism dominates the scene. The Bahans are without a doubt the friendliest people we have met in our travels. We opted to not rent a car. We used the buses to go to Hunt's Garden, EarthWorks Pottery, Animal Flower Cave, Bridgetown, Holetown, and Speightstown. People are more then willing to help you with directions. You can pickup and get off the buses just a few meters from the villa. We ate at Merton's on 3 nights, 200 meters from the villa. The greatest seared Tuna we have ever had. Other nights we ate in the villa utilizing the fully equipped kichen.

Location, location, location
We have stayed at many villas and rentals in the Caribbean as well as in Europe, and this one is one of the best. If you like to get away from the touristy areas, and take things at your own pace, the location is awesome, with the beautiful Caribbean literally at your feet, a bus stop less than 100 yds away, and a grocery store just around the corner. It is also a very safe place to stay, and the people living around made us feel very welcome. We did most of our grocery shopping at Moontown, just around the corner, and bought take out food at the little "deli" counter just outside it, to eat at home. The Fishpot, an excellent restaurant with very friendly and efficient service, was just a five minute walk away. We even walked to Speightstown from the villa, about half an hour. It is worth the visit, with its restaurants and bars along the beach. We never needed a car, but did rent one for one day to do some sightseeing, and to purchase some more of the gorgeous pottery at Earthworks. Although this was our fourth visit to Barbados, there were still things we had never seen, such as the Wildlife Reserve https://www.barbadoswildlifereserve.com/ , the North Point Restaurant on the cliffs at the north end of the island, and the Atlantis, near Bathsheba. Linda and Les are excellent hosts. They called us often just to see how we were getting on. Their property manager, Valdez, couldn't have been nicer, and was always available when needed. Linda, Les and Valdez were always keen to hear our suggestions, and would act on them when possible. For example, we mentioned to Valdez that it would be nice to have a lounge chair on the upper level, where we stayed, and within half an hour, had brought us one! A small note; if you are planning to listen to music on your iPhone, you will need to bring an adaptor, as the sound system there uses the docking pad from an older model iPod. But, the sound of the waves was usually music enough for us! We would definitely come back to the Sea Spray, and we would bring our whole family, too!

Immerse yourself in the Barbados Vibe!! Loved it!!
This place is great for so many reasons and loved our 2 weeks away. Location is far enough away from the busy Bridgetown area and far less touristy. The locals are warm friendly people and we felt welcomed and safe. Moontown has everything you need within a 5 minute stumble or walk. Moontown has a well stocked grocery store, bar and local hub. Karaoke at Moontown bar is a must! Directly across the street from Moontown is Merton's Fish fry on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Smell of Mahogany wood fire, fresh fish, casual setting and sound of the ocean.(Bring Cash-no credit or debit card) Oistens fish fry is a must do too with lots of sites and sounds party atmosphere. Holetown is a nice place to go for the day although found it was a bit too ritzy and uptight. Speightstown is the closest large town and has lots of spots to see and keeps the local Barbadian feel. Bridgetown has lots to see but found we only did a couple day trips there as we liked very much where we were. Traveling around the Island was easy enough. We did not have a car rental and may try that next time for a bit more freedom. Cabs are relatively easy to get and a bit pricey. Once you get onto the the bussing system is a good and cheap way to get around. $2 Barbadian gets you a large bus and local zone buses are little vans that get you in the local district areas. Got dropped off right by the house and the best pick up spot along the main drag before the Crab Hill turn off. There is no real time schedule and have to cope with that especially getting back from the north end of the island. The house is nice with a casual comfortable layout with a kitchen had all you need if you wanted to cook. We did not use the air conditioning in the bedroom rather left windows open and fans on to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean and tree frogs. As you can see from pictures the owner posted there is a stairs that leads right into the ocean and a beach within a 5 minute walk north or south of the house. Awesome snorkeling with fish, rays and saw a turtle off the beach too. The owner called prior to our arrival and prior to our departure and was very accommodating to our needs. We did a few tours but our favorites were a catamaran tour with snorkelling with turtles and sunken ships on a sunset tour and the other was Animal flower Cave with a tour guide thru the caves with lunch overlooking the north end of the island. We highly recommend this property and Barbados as a destination.

Great place and what a view!
It is a lovely apartment (with another apartment underneath but it feels very private). We spent a lot of time on the balcony with the superb sea views. The little private beach was really only useable at low tides but that was easy to google so we could plan our days: you can snorkle literally 20 feet out from the beach and see loads of fish and the next door beach is quiet and beautiful. Wifi and bedroom aircon worked well. There was plenty of room in the comfortable main living area and the second bathroom was really helpful to have. It was disappointing that the washer and drier were out of order (we had been travelling for a few weeks and were looking forward to using them) but I am sure this will be fixed soon as the owners clearly care a lot about their property. Brilliant restaurant (The Fish Pot) 5 mins walk - wonderful but quite pricey - and a few beach bars walkable too. The owner phoned us during our stay to check everything was OK and Joel the housekeeper who checked us in and out was really helpful when we managed to leave our passports there after we left! We would definitely book again.

Half Moon Heaven
Just returned from a two week stay at Sea Spray and enjoyed it thoroughly. Joel was on site to welcome us and was wonderful at giving us a lay of the land. The villa was well equipped with everything we needed, tastefully appointed and, oh that balcony! Two master bedrooms with bathrooms makes it a great choice for two couples. Steps leading down to a private beach got us into a wonderful routine of daily swims before breakfast. It’s an easy walk to Moontown where you can pick up most essentials. The little store (St. Elmo’s) is an experience in itself! Speightstown is a couple miles south with lots of shopping and restaurants. We loved the vibe of the area as it wasn’t as busy as the south and southwest shores and our rental car gave us lots of flexibility to tour the island. Linda and Les were great hosts and called several times to answer any questions and make sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely loved this place- hope to return and recommend it highly! Enjoyed the villa but a few issues with location and the amenities
It was a nice, clean, comfortable villa with great views of the ocean but was too far from most of the Cropover events which was the reason for our stay. The villa was extremely hot upon checking in and a suggestion would be to turn on the AC several hours prior to guests arriving. It was disappointing after traveling all day to arrive in a hot villa. We had to shut all the windows and turn on the AC. Also, it was 5 ladies staying for an entire week with only 4 rolls of toilet paper. After requesting more toilet paper, it was advised that we go out and purchase our own. That was quite a shock. We all thought that basic necessities such as toilet paper would be ample and provided.

Great House, Great Location
Les, Linda, and Theresa Warner are wonderful hosts. Sea Spray Villa is fantastic. Ideal location. Locals are very friendly and helpful. As you can see in the photos you walk down a set of private stairs to your own beach. Great snorkeling, just swim south of the villa towards half moon bay. We saw turtles every day. If you want a large beach to yourself walk north around the corner to moon town (<5 minutes) and take the stairs next to Merton's Fish Fry to Freyers Well Bay beach. There is a small bar run by a very friendly Travis. He also has a dive shop. Buy fresh fish from the fishermen next to Merton's if you want to cook at home. Definitely enjoy a meal at Merton's and Braddy's (south of the Fish Pot on 6 Men's Bay). There is also takeout at the supermarket/deli/bar/hardware store in Moontown. Ask them to make fish cakes for you with sauce. Heywoods/Pt St Charles is a 20 minute walk/5 minute drive to another beautiful beach with great snorkeling. Holetown has Folkstone marine reserve, good snorkeling on the North side of the roped area. We went on a couple of nice sailing/snorkeling trips, used Shasa (8 people max) and Calabaza (12 people max). Shasa leaves out of Holetown which is near Sea Spray, Calabaza from Bridetown which is a 40 minute drive. Both are highly recommended. Check out the lighthouse and Animal Flower cave if you have a car, very close by Sea Spray. Great rental, great hosts, can't recommend enough!
