"Me and partner come hear for some down time, we had a lovely stay hot tub was a added bonus, all id say was the sofa and mattress was not comfortable other then that perfect, we had food at tomahawk not far and 100% recommended "

"We booked the micro cabin for 2 adults and 2 kids, in the description they say the sofa was a pull out this is not the case it's a sofa where you click the back down and it was certainly not big enough for our 2 children. The place was not cleaned properly, which was disappointing and the amount of flies we had to put up with in the cabin was horrendous. The small window to the bedroom area was cracked which I would think should be repaired. For you you pay it was definitely disappointing."

"This property was fit for purpose for our two-night stay. Lovely setting with the exception of the main road close by. Comfortable lodge though wouldn’t necessarily describe it as ‘luxury.’"

"Great location with just the 4 lodges next to a small manmade lake. Trees all around and blackberries to pick. Just 15 mins away from York so ideal base. Shower is amazing!"

"The property was clean, however it was very dated, old shower, rusted shower, door handles throughout made lots of noise as did floor, so if anyone had to get up during the night all of the others sleep would be disruptive, hot tub had no heat options, and a lodge with hot tub that wants to charge extra £10 for bath robe, ...... really disappointing start to stay, pity no washing machine so all dirty clothes had to be kept in cases, had to use a knife to open freezer door as the handle on...

"Fantastic accommodation that provides everything you need for a girls weekend away. Beautifully furnished (Hamptons feel) with perfect entertaining space inside and out. Hot tub was a great addition to use day and evening. Lots of comfy seating to relax on for the 6 of us. Surrounding area is beautiful to visit and for walks. Would highly recommend. We had a wonderful weekend."
