"Beng so close the the arena up the road it is very convenient. I had the a single room which, for the price, is fine. It is clean, comfortable, with all the basic necessities. Breakfast was delicious and there is a varied menu for evening meals. "

"The stay at the Pen Mill Hotel was excellent, the staff where very helpful and accommodating, the food was fantastic and the staff where very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. "Location: Hotel is sited close to the Cathedral and the heart of the city. The only major drawback for some might be the lack of a car park although this did not affect me as I arrived by bus with a bus stop just a few yards away from the hotel. Room: My room although a little dark was well equipped and very quiet. The bathroom has rather dated with a deep bath and a shower that had to be hand held with no shower screen or curtain. Overall the room was very comfortable and I certainly had a good night’s sleep. Food/Drink: There is the offer of a very basic and limited continental breakfast or a good range of cooked breakfasts if you prefer. The hotel has an excellent range of craft beers and serves a range of evening meals. Staff: Very welcoming and helpful. Overall: If Wells is your destination I would certainly recommend staying here.
