"This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. We heard so many birds including owls and saw bats, and deer locally whilst visiting. The pool was a treat in the hot weather ( unheated for the strong hearted!) Situated in a lovely garden. "The property met our needs, but there were some things that could have been better. On the upside, because we had young children along, the pool was a bonus. The donkeys, goats, chickens, and roosters were enchanting. On the downside, if someone wants to be close to the surrounding cities (Tours/Amboise) with pubs and restaurants, this is not the place. Also, the place needs some TLC and a good scrubbing."

"the location is stunning the host is very nice and responsive but unfortunately the property has not been cleaned prior to our arival it was dusty, sticky and the toiled smelled of wee. We where very disappointed. We do travel a lot as a family and I have seen a number of properties. This one needs a deep clean . It has been advertised for a family but the indoor dining table is way to small like the water cooker for a family of 5 (and my kids are still small). I would have loved to rate it...
