"We stayed for just on night. The cabin was nice, it's a nice old cabin, floors were squeaky and loud, but I guess that added to the charm. The only complaint is the twin beds were as hard as a rock, felt like laying on plywood. Seeing the devastation in the area was also heartbreaking. The location was perfect for us to enjoy our family in Grassy Creek."

"Description of the place was accurate including location details, surroundings and trains. River is about 20 yards from the house, serene ambiance, quiet relaxing sound. Train watching was enjoyable experience and, on positive side, the trains didn't run at night (or so I think). "Amazing stay in Damascus. The house has everything you need and is in walking distance to so many cool shops and restaurants in town. Fenced in back yard is ideal for bringing dogs as well. Amazingly easy access To the Creeper Trail - it’s right across the street! Highly recommend Wilson’s cafe, which is also practically across the street. Shrimp and grits - delicious! We’ll definitely check the availability here first when we plan our next trip. "
