It sounded like There was little to no insulation in the walls and ceiling. We could hear entire conversations in other rooms. This also occurred nightly around 3am when they ran their wp tub

Wingate employs old fashion thru-wall heat/cooling systems. There is a dummy thermostat mounted on the wall that isn't connected to anything. The controls on the wall unit had the power on/off, fan, and heat/cold button disabled. The noise of the unit was unbearably loud. I found the only way to shut it off was to pull the plug. I found the plug connected to a bare receptacle lying on rug, stuffed under the unit, with excess cable bundled. I took a photo of this obvious electrical code violation and showed it to the desk clerk at checkout. All I got was a blank stare! Too many other choices to putup with this.

There’s a really good family run restaurant in the plaza beside the hotel, and the front desk staff at the hotel are friendly and very welcoming. The rooms are clean and housekeeping does a great job at being accommodating and thorough.

Employee at check in was very friendly and did a great job! The room was clean. The sheets and towels fresh. Pillows definitely need to be replaced. TV did not work (which was not a problem for me). Overall a nice/convenient/reasonably priced hotel for an overnight stay.

This is a horrible hotel, I highly do NOT recommend! The breakfast is NASTY, there is MOLD everywhere in the hotel room, the bathroom was dirty inside the hotel room. There was no housekeeping services as well, it’s like pulling teeth to get someone to change the sheets. TV channel is limited as well. Don’t waste your money on this hotel, you get what you pay for. Everything in the convenience store is expensive too, $4 for 2 feminine pads. Don’t book with this people seriously!!!
