Wonderful Spot In The World
Such a great place- beautiful and comfortable home, super clean, and a great location on a peaceful street in walking distance to downtown. Had young grandkids with us, and they loved the backyard so much, walking to the ice cream shop, and there's a nice area at the top of the stairs, which was a perfect hangout. The backyard is fabulous, with a great flow and lot's of places to sit and enjoy it. There's a Sonos music system that fills the house and the backyard. Comfortable bed, nice linens, wonderful bathrooms. Enjoyable kitchen to cook in, and the deck is a lovely place to eat. Such a good vibe- we felt right at home, and it's one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. Great communication with the host, Virginia too. Love the Enchanted Castle, and we all thought the name is a perfect description. Thank you, Virginia!

I miss this place already.
My husband and I stayed at the castle for 4 days, and I could have stayed for another 4. It was so relaxing, the hot tub was great, the hanging bed was the perfect place to sit outside on and read a book, and the bathroom was incredible! The bed in the downstairs bedroom was really comfortable, and you really will want for nothing here. It’s walking distance to everything, shops, restaurants, sit by the train tracks and grab some ice cream was very nice. The house has a very relaxing vibe to it and Virginia was very nice making sure your stay was very comfortable. Thank you Virginia :)

SoPi Christmas 2023!
Perfect spot for a getaway - beautiful Victorian home with tons of character. Well equipped kitchen, outdoor spaces that allow you to take advantage of the beauty of NC and a great location. We had a water issue and Virginia was on the ball - solid communication, help to resolve and great follow up - couldn't have asked for more. We had an amazing time and will be back!

We had such a great stay! Very easy drive to Pinehurst and walkable to the cute town of Southern Pines. Very close to several great small town restaurants. We loved the cottage - it was very cozy and homey, with plenty of space for our group. We enjoyed the hot tub and amazing fire pit. We would absolutely rent again. The host, Virginia, was very communicative, upfront, caring and made sure we had everything we needed. We appreciated her insight and informative approach. Great experience and meaningful Thanksgiving!

This is a superbly located, homey, and functional single family home for a visit to Southern Pines. Easy walking to all our downtown SP favorites. Everything worked, and the bed in the Master was very comfortable.

Unexpected delight
We enjoyed a peaceful weekend at the enchanted castle. The house was set up for entertaining. We were so surprised by the proximity to everything. We didn’t move our car for 4 days. Restaurants and coffee shops and quaint shops are just a block away. We enjoyed the outdoor space too. Much needed cozy space for our family to relax and reconnect.

Wonderful home in perfect location
I can't say enough good things about this property. The house is beautiful and has everything you might want while on vacation. Honestly, I'm a little jealous of Virginia for getting to live in such a wonderful place. The backyard is as inviting as the photos make it look. I hope we will have an opportunity to stay here again.

The Enchanted Castle is on a great quiet street in Southern Pines. Check in and communication with our host was a breeze. I did have to text about the wifi password and got a response in minutes. The house was clean. Beds and linens were high quality. It was a great set-up for a week with my mom and sister. The house is very cozy and homey. The house appeared to be lived in by the host, which had many benefits. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies/tools, Nespresso pods and pantry items like salt/pepper. The backyard was a true oasis and we spent many mornings and evenings outdoors by the firepit. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard, and it was safe and secure for them. We walked to breakfast and dinner most days. Parking was ample for our 2 cars. There was a bicycle on the porch for us, but we didn't use. My one suggestion would be for the owner to designate some spaces for guests in the kitchen cabinets to put our food items. We sort of felt we were intruding in the home at times as it appears to be a primary residence for someone--but maybe that was use being overly respectful. It would have also been great to have a guest folder or binder with suggestions of local businesses/restaurants to check out, wifi info and check out info. But, again the host was so quick to respond with questions this wasn't a big deal. We were grateful to stay there and would 100% rent the home again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

It was disappointing
The shower curtain had mold on it, the washcloths looked like rags.The outdoor furniture had leaves and debris all over it so we had to clean that area. The frig was dirty. We had the feeling we were living in someones home??? Perhaps it was her home but it wasn't very clean. Ive been in other VRBO's that were immacualte so this was rather shocking. There were no instructions or welcome information about linens, dishwasher, what resturants were available, etc. It was disappointing considering what I paid for it.

Perfect Getaway in Downtown Southern Pines
We are so grateful to have found this wonderful place to stay in downtown Southern Pines! It is so charming and we can’t say enough about how at home we felt while being on vacation. The backyard is amazing. We spent a lot of time out on the deck sitting at the table enjoying the view all around us with easy access to the kitchen. The backyard has lights strung all throughout and it brought such a festive and cozy feeling. The house was super clean and just absolutely lovely. Thank you so much!! This made for the perfect getaway. Oh and I should mention - easy short walking distance to all of the shops and morning coffee runs for lattes and scones which was so fun!
