The Camelia Hotel restaurant was very cozy and tasty. There is an italian restaurante called Eatalia. Family business, small, very tasty. Also the upscale Roslin restaurant was very good; Pricy, but excelent.

"Lovely place very clean. Nice room room with fridge for n room. Comfy bed. Bit small for a double. You have to pay £50 deposit on room. Get it back by 2pm. After room been cleaned."

Enjoyed my stay.
"The room was very large. Lots of space and the bed was comfortable. Needed some extra pillows. Quiet. Good price and well placed for accessing Southend shopping and theatres. The carpets in the room could do with being replaced as many stains."

One thing I forgot to mention, which is a definite positive, when we woke on the Sunday morning and opened the blinds, we were welcomed with blue sky and sunshine and the most wonderful view of the sea!
