"A very warm welcome at check in but sadly downhill from there. Very run down motel, but, clean and comfortable beds. Bathroom leaked, don’t know wear from, water all over the floor and so slippery. Sadly not much choice on our route and the only thing that saved it was the lad at reception "

"Beach house is lovely and clean. House is a short walk to the town and beach. The owner is easy to communicate with. Overall the whole trip was very pleasant and great. "

"Very Clean, Very Quiet and well appointed. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again. A five minute drive to everything you need. "

"The meals were very generous and good pub fare. The room was not heated at all, so be aware in winter it's cold!! An electric blanket would have been helpful. That said, the blankets were warm. Wifi didn't work in the rooms, so we weren't able to watch anything or plan the next day (no tv). Wifi worked in the shared lounge and in the bar. It was clearly a grand hotel in its day, nice that not too much has been modernised. "

"Almost don't want to say how great this is in case I can't get another booking! Was so nice to be somewhere quiet and private with plenty of room for multigenerational family and several dogs. Everything was great and comfortable, and the owner was lovely to deal with. Such a great holiday!"

"Quiet and peaceful. Rustic charm with almost everything that was required. The cons were that the heating/cooling system was very noisy and drowned out the TV whenever it cut in. The shower was barely adequate due to water pressure and being over the bath entirely unsuitable for elderly or disabled. The mattresses are VERY firm resulting in poor, uncomfortable sleep so we left property a day earlier than planned. Overall, expensive for the amenities provided but if you are looking for a rustic experience and young enough to cope with the discomfort then this may be the place for you."
