This is a well kept ranch home close to the Bill Nicholls trail for all of your snowmobile and atv fun. South Range is a historic mining town that is only 5 minutes to Houghton and about 10 minutes to MTU. There are also Lake Superior beaches within a 20 minute drive. This house has a well stocked kitchen, bath towels and bedroom linens. There is high speed internet with WiFi and Hulu for TV. The tv is a smart tv that you maybe able to log into your streaming service.

This place was perfect for our trip to Houghton for our son’s graduation. Just a few minutes from Houghton. Easy access to the Quincy Mine, downtown Houghton and campus without being in the middle of the crowd.

We came for family weekend, perfect distance from the madness of Houghton-close enough for short food/grocery runs. Nice shower, beds & laundry. Will definitely choose again!

We (me and 2 friends) stayed here a couple of days before venturing out on a 9-day bike packing trip. The house was clean and close to Houghton and our starting point for the trip. We appreciated having a garage to store our bikes and get them ready for our trip. Kitchen and bathroom (good water pressure for the shower) had everything we needed. Totally recommend this place.

Great location for a 2-3 man snowmobile trip. Place had everything that was needed. Clean and updated!! Right off the trail, gas nearby and walking distance to the pub. We'll be back!!

Went to the UP for our annual snowmobile trip. Home was well taken care of, clean, comfortable, and warm. The house was as described and extremely close to the trail and a block away from the gas station. The owner was outstanding. Jeff was extremely easy to talk to and very helpful with the questions I had. I would absolutely stay here again.

If you are looking for a place to stay near the snowmobile trails. THIS IS IT!!! You can jump on the trail less than a block away and gas is two blocks away. The house is comfy and has everything you need for your trip. Even a garage to store sled overnight.

Convenient location
Very convenient to snowmobile trail although we did not take advantage of it due to lack of snow. Also nicely convenient, walking distance to 1902 Restaurant that we have enjoyed multiple times over the last three years. The house itself has a nice entryway, three bedrooms and a stocked kitchen. The living room was roomy and we had a nice stay. We would have preferred two bathrooms but the one worked out fine for the three of us. We look forward to staying again next winter.

Great base camp for snowmobiling! Trail is 1/2 a block away, gas station is a block away and 2 bars within two blocks. House was clean and also had trailer parking. I’ll be coming back. Thanks for sharing
