Our family room with a view over the castle was very clean and comfortable and so was the bathroom. We had drinks and dinner at the restaurant one evening and Martin was very attentive. "Great stay for visit to the Playhouse. Walking distance from Waverly station, to St James Quarter and Playhouse. Best location for what we we had planned. Floor 0 takes you to Waverly station avoiding all the traffic lights and longer walk to station. Staff lovely, rooms beautiful. "

About a 10 min walk from Waverley and key sites, nestled between Castle and university yet still quiet at night (I would enthusiastically recommend for families visiting the university). Room was large and had both a bath and a separate shower, as well as a fridge and kettle. Decor was fresh, good quality bedding. Pool and sauna are at larger sister hotel, but gaining access was straightforward. Reception and housekeeping staff at both hotels were absolutely lovely."
