"Solo weekend retreat at this idyllic 8-acre Christmas tree farm was quiet and a nice re-set / nod to simpler times. Visited in January and it snowed while I was touring the farm! Perfect set-up for one person or a couple. Would actually move in permanently - it was that lovely! Location is right near four corners/groundswell, so you are equal parts secluded and connected to local shops/cafes. There were even goats, one of which I nicknamed Tom Brady. "Property was just the right size for our needs. Since it was colder, we couldn't use the lovely outside seating or fire pit. They would have been perfect based on what we saw. It was wonderful looking out the windows at the water and fun to watch the ducks swimming and the seagulls perched on the rocks. "This farm stay was all we hoped for. Beautiful accommodations, great bedding, well stocked kitchen and amazing views. Plus, the sheep, goats, llama, poultry, and gardens reminded us so much of our old farm in Iowa. We hope to return in the summer."

"This cottage was an updated, cute New England style cottage. Lovely back deck on the water offered scenic views all day long. Kitchen updated nicely. A smoke alarm went off one night because of battery issues. The washer seal was very mildewy. Trash cans were full upon our arrival so we could barely get our trash into them as requested. The towels were a bit smelly and there were not enough hand towels. Overall we were very pleased! The owners just need to work out a few maintenance or property...
