Other activities include horseback riding and the Laguna Madre Nature Trail. Visit the historical Port Isabel or take a 30-minute drive to Brownsville to one of the top zoos in the country—The Gladys Porter Zoo. For golfers, golf is available at the South Padre Island Golf Club in Laguna Vista.
