Charming and romantic, this stylish 2BR chalet is newly remodeled using sustainable materials. The cozy A-frame features tasteful, modern decor in a fabulous setting, just 5 miles from Heavenly Resort, Sierra at Tahoe and Stateline. Arranged on two levels, this quaint home features a spiral staircase to a loft. This home is now pet-friendly!

This home cannot host more than 3 people over the age of 5. This applies 24/7.

- Please note: there is no garage. There is a small carport at the end of a short steep driveway that slopes down from the street. During winter, AWD or 4WD vehicle highly recommended. Chains a MUST if your vehicle is not AWD or 4WD. Driveway will be plowed, but you should expect snow and ice. Parking backwards will create the best traction.

Nestled in a serene, forested neighborhood, this stylish 2BR chalet offers a picturesque retreat just 5 miles from the heart of South Lake Tahoe's premier attractions. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding the home, ideal for hiking, biking, and lakeside activities. Heavenly Resort, Sierra at Tahoe, and Stateline provide ample opportunities for skiing, shopping, and dining. The home itself, with its modern, eco-friendly design, spiral staircase to a cozy loft, and inviting electric fireplace, offers a tranquil base to return to after a day of adventure. Enjoy the open-concept living space and a private deck for quiet evenings under the stars.

The downstairs bedroom hosts a queen size bed. Upstairs there are two twin beds in the loft. The downstairs full bath has a single sink, shower, and tub for the ultimate in relaxation.

Just outside the living space on the ground floor is the quaint deck and fenced in backyard.

Pets: 1 dog allowed w/ pre-approval (up to 35lbs), additional fee required. No other animals allowed. Bring a crate if you plan to leave a dog unattended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in/on beds. Any barking or behavior that bothers neighbors is not allowed. You will be responsible for extra cleaning charges for hair on furniture, pet stains, dog droppings, & any damage caused by dog(s).

Great getaway in South Lake Tahoe!
We had a wonderful stay in Lake Tahoe! The cabin was everything we wanted it to be. It was cozy, charming, and very close to town. Our only issue was the noise of the heater going on and off in the middle of the night. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

Lovely weekend stay
The property is so beautiful, with an incredible amount of snow! The A frame design was cool! The cabin it’s self was warm and cozy, clean and bright. Plenty of amenities and we never felt like we were in need of anything. Thanks Kulhaus for an amazing stay to welcome me into my 40’s on this birthday weekend! Hope to come again!

Charming A-Frame in the woods
This is a wonderful home, beautifully appointed, in close proximity to all of the fun of South Lake Tahoe. While cozy, it was the perfect size for my small family. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, and resting after long days of skiing. Everything associated with the property is precisely as described. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic winter getaway
Great cabin for a smaller family 1-2 children. Heavy snow over the weekend but snow removal team was on top of it for the driveway. Very modern kitchen suited to the coffee lover. Staff was very responsive to a request for an additional day due to stormy conditions. Will definitely be back!

Perfect lake retreat
Thrilled with the amenities in this well-stocked and beautifully decorated space, we were able to enjoy all that Lake Tahoe has to offer…and recharge as well! It’s rare to find a rental with this many thoughtful details. Whether we were headed to the beach, trails or just enjoying meals together on the porch, it was easy to navigate from this house.

Cute Cabin
Very cute cabin. Looks just like the pics on the website. Location is perfect. Close to shops and ski resort. Fully equipped kitchen. Only cons for us was that the tv in the room is not a functioning tv. The electric fireplace was not working either.. other than that it was great for a couple and maybe 1 more adult upstairs.

Adorable Chalet!
Overall, we truly loved the chalet and our visit to Tahoe! The cabin is a little far from town, so keep that in mind. The cabin was very clean, we just ran into some issues with our bed sheets upon arrival, but Jack was a doll and brought us clean sheets late at night! The main bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I have back issues too so it was very apparent to me, but it might not be for someone else. That is really my only complaint. Seriously, it is the cutest cabin and we would recommend it to anyone that doesn’t mind staying a short drive from town!

I'd like to propose a couple of things, so people after me could feel even more cozy! 1. I really needed some sleepers there. The floor was so cold, my socks got dirty easily and I had to wear some of my thin socks. I wish I had sleepers with me 2. I am not sure if someone noticed that, but bedding (matress) on the first floor has a yellow puddle on it, and when we slept there, we smelt (I am so sorry for writting this)... we felt a smell of child's pee. Sleeping there was a bit uncomfortable. Overal, I would recommend this cabin to my friends!

I've always wanted to stay in an A-frame, and to say I've now been to one twice, and that it felt familiar and comforting as we stepped through the door is amazing. We loved being back in the space, soaking in the whirlpool tub, having breakfast and dinner at the long table, and just relaxing in front of the fireplace heater and tv. And it was fun to spot some of the changes as well - new deck! Lego set! It's one of the most stylish getaways I've ever been to, balanced out with some warm personal touches, including a very nice welcome back to us from the owner. Can't wait to come back again.

Places in Tahoe with a modernist aesthetic are hard to find, so we appreciated its sophisticated yet cozy style. It is VERY well equipped with power strips, fans, air purifier, 5 different ways to make coffee (espresso machine, Keurig, auto drip, chemex and French press!), a comfy mattress, plus other thoughtful touches to make life easier. The property was also very quiet and peaceful. I'd love to stay here again.
