Fabulous Family time
Love that room of the house and that people could be together or separate time. Had everything we needed. The pool table and hot tub were a hit. Kitchen has everyone one needs to cook for a family. Located in a court is a plus. Easy to navigate the area. Loved that we could park the car in the garage. We will rent this location again.

Perfect for large families
This house is great for a large group. It has plenty of places to spread out. We enjoyed a movie night together and our older children enjoyed playing pool. My only complaint is that the outlets to the home are not in working order. I couldn't blow dry my hair in the bathroom and the hot tub kept tripping off so was never really that warm. For us it was no big deal (it was in the summer!). The only problem with the electricity is that we had to figure out where to plug in my sons medical devices. I would definitely not use flannel sheets for the summer. My over all experience though was not negative. And I was also told that the air-conditioning units to the home were just placed so it might just need to be tweaked on the electrical end of things. The home was inviting there were trails to hike and were very close by. We missed all the busy parts of Tahoe because of the homes location. The kitchen was equipped for a large family to gather. We even fit at the dinning table together. I would visit again and maybe just bring some extra bedding!

Our group really enjoyed the cabin with plenty of beds and couches. The hot tub was a great perk. The location was perfect with proximity to golf and hiking and also restaurants and nightlife

Great spot!
We enjoyed our stay at Montgomery Estates. All the amenities (pool/ darts/ jacuzzi), beautiful views, there’s truly no reason to leave. But a quick drive to the “downtown” area of South Lake Tahoe. Highly recommend staying here

Celebration Getaway
This was a wonderful stay! Michelle was so helpful throughout the entire weekend with suggestions, local spots and the walk through of the property when we checked in! We were all staying to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was a perfect choice in every way. Everything we wanted to do was less than 15 mins away. It was a lovely time and everyone enjoyed themselves!

Incredible place!!!
This was my favorite vacation rental ever! Michelle, Charles, and Amy were so accommodating and their communication was great! The house is so beautiful and has so many incredible amenities. Highly recommend staying here! It was wonderful and my friends and I had a blast! We will definitely be coming back again 😊

We had a great time at Cold Creek Ct. There was plenty of space for our group. The kitchen was a good size for each group to make dinner each night. The updated appliances were wonderful. Amy was great and always easy to get in touch with. The addition of the 2 room air conditioners made our last couple of days very comfortable . My only complaint would be the shape of the deck. There are nail-heads popping all over and there are quite a few loose boards. Walking on the deck did make us all a bit nervous. I know this was mentioned in an earlier review and I think the owner really needs to address this issue before someone gets seriously hurt.

Great setting for a murder mystery dinner party
We had a wonderful time! The place was spacious and had all the necessary elements for a weekend away. We hiked the nearby trails and came home to a warm and inviting space where my friends and I could comfortably share stories, enjoy a few glasses of wine and relax. Would highly recommend!

Dated, Beat up, Unsympathetic Owner & Property Manager
We have rented at least 10 houses over the years in Tahoe and this one was by far the worst in condition and had the worst interaction with the owner and property manager Amy who demonstrated zero empathy towards our concerns. We do not recommend this property and you should know full well what you are walking into if you rent this house. We were informed on arrival, but not before despite speaking with the owner on the day of the check-in, that the clothes dryer was broken so we would have to dry our clothes at a nearby laundromat or the sauna. That is a pain because we had 4 young children in the house and needed to dry their towels and snow clothes frequently. After settling into the house, we noticed several more concerning things, lack of sufficient towels, hot water not working in certain bathrooms, smoke detector hanging off the ceiling, electrical outlets that did not have covers, a dangerous nail protruding from the bench in the sauna and no shovel to manage the ice that was on the driveway. We called the owner directly expressing these issues and the owner was very defensive and told us to summarize the issues in an email and send it to the site coordinator. Amy returned the next day with replacement towels and we shared our frustration with the poor condition of the house and that we would like to be compensated as we would not have chosen to stay in the home based on these issues. The owner called us immediately after and instead of trying to rectify things, told us that if we were having such a bad time we would need to vacate immediately, and he would refund the payment. 3 families travelled 4+ hours to get to the house so this was not a suitable solution. When we stated that this was not a good remediation, he said we could settle compensation at checkout. Both the owner and coordinator did not show up at the scheduled walk through check out time and made us wait for 45 minutes before we had to call him to find out that no one is coming. The owner then said he could offer $300 and said "absolutely not" when we requested for a 10% refund. We paid 2.5x premium to stay there over new years (>$1700 a night) and were shocked by how we were treated. The owner is greedy and did not care to ensure our cares were addressed. This put a damper on our holiday plans but thankfully we were still able to enjoy the beauty of tahoe outdoors.

Much needed change of scenery
Our stay at this property was wonderful! With the two large living rooms, it was perfect for our large family. We enjoyed evenings cozied up to the fireplace. The kids loved playing in the snow in the yard & exploring in the beautiful pine trees at the end of the cul de sac. The location was great! A walk through the neighborhood was peaceful & the views were amazing! The only thing that surprised us was that the kitchen was more dated than it appeared in pictures. It was functional & well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The large dining room was ideal for 10 of us. Overall, it turned out to be a refreshing getaway!

We had an awesome trip to Tahoe. This house is perfect for a large group- lots of beds and plenty of bathrooms. The location is so close to town and the amenities like the hot tub were a great bonus. I would definitely recommend renting this house.

Stay was amazing! My friends and I enjoyed the place and are normally a really loud group, but didn’t have any complaints. Kitchen is literally fully stocked. There are indoor speakers that work very well. Only thing I think should have been easier would be the check out process. Although I do understand, we had to wait for the landlord/manager to do a walk through before we could leave. I get it so they can see if there are any damages and we can see at the same time and no surprise charges, but a lock box to put the key in would be nice. We had an issue with the downstairs shower not turning off. It stayed on all night, but due to the time we found out... someone came to see it first thing in the morning. Overall a great place to stay, would stay here again!
