The bar could not service cocktail drinks due to not having a liquor license, only served one brand of beer (again not listed in hotel description) the breakfast did not have that much variety, too spread out throughout the restaurant rather than one general area. "Very nice and clean property with top notch service staffs. Great amenities and location to Lotte Mall. However breakfast spread is not much choices compare to other hotels. But the food quality is good which covers the shortfall of choices. Another negative comments is the staffs doesn't know how to operate the washer in the room, perhaps need more training to the housekeeping team I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. and peers."

"The hotel consists of one or two bedroom apartments in central Jakarta. The apartment was serviced daily and the staff very friendly. However there was no cooking utensils at all, just 2 glasses,2 plates, and bowls , and 2 sets of fork and spoons. There is no dishwashing liquid or tea towels. Quite ridiculous seeing as there is a full gas hot plate The towels and sheets were great but a bit of mould in the shower. Fully air conditioned and a balcony too. "I’ve stayed at Hotel Kristal many times over the last 15 years. The staff are most friendly and accommodating and the pool and Satu Lagi Bar are great. I will stay there again if in Jakarta. If I could point out anything on the negative side, is the facility needs a facelift. My room, for example, was clean but clearly showed signs of wear and tear.
