The Landing Spot on West Lake Sylvia

Once you arrive at The Landing Spot, you'll know you are in the right spot. This modernly appointed lake home sits on the west side of West Lake Sylvia. It has roughly 85 feet of lake shore and is quietly nestled in the woods.

The home has an open floor plan with large rooms. You will be able to relax comfortably during your stay. The master bedroom has a king bed and flat screen TV. A queen bed and twin over twin bunk beds are in the second bedroom. The lower level has a twin over full bunk bed to accommodate 3 additional guests.

Talk to your friends and family while they relax at the counter as you prepare meals in the large kitchen appointed with stainless steel appliances. The dining room table seats 6 and 4 more can be seated at the island.

There is plenty of room to unwind in the living room while you watch the HDTV or stream music. The Landing Spot has internet access, WiFi and a land line for phone service.

At just shy of one acre, you'll have plenty of space to park and participate in outdoor activities. Relax in the hot tub after a day on the water or enjoying a round of golf at one of the nearby golf courses. Many outdoor activities are available for your guests to enjoy, such as bean bag toss, ladder ball and bocce ball.

Of course there is the lake to enjoy too. Lake Sylvia is one of the top lakes in Minnesota boasting 17 ft water clarity. Paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe are available for use on the lake. The owner also has a 2018 Bennington Pontoon for rent. The boat is rented through Boatsetter. Go to their website and search for boats near Annanadale, or West Lake Sylvia, and you'll see a pontoon by Scott. The public access is close by for ease of launching your boat.

For the safety and security of our guests, the front of the home is monitored by a Ring surveillance camera mounted to the motion sensitive light.

This place is great - right on a lake, has everything you could need (games, puzzles, internet, big open kitchen, hot tub!) and working with the owner was seamless. We’ve been twice and will likely come again.

Gorgeous house and lake. Cute little town. Had a great pizza from Jimmy's and great meal at the Thayer Hotel. Love Annandale and make a point to visit every year. So glad I found this house, we've stayed there before and are already booked for next summer. Looking forward to it.

What a lovely week we had. The house is perfect. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the hot tub. The lake is very clear and we were located in a bay, so very calm. The boat landing is right next door...so very handy.

We spent 5 days at The Landing Spot and it was amazing! Scott was very helpful and responsive. We had everything we could've needed. The property was very clean, cozy and comfortable. Clean and well taken property
We had a wonderful and relaxing time staying at the landing spot. The hot tub was relaxing, ice fishing was fun, saw lots of deer. Went snow shoeing. Visited a local pub. We had a Fantastic weekend and definetly recommend staying there.

Our family had the greatest time at this lake house and the beautiful Lake Sylvia. The house is very clean/updated, and has everything you will need to enjoy your stay. The owners are great at communicating and have a binder with everything you will need to know when staying there. Definitely recommend!

Very nice updated home. Super clean. We enjoyed using the canoe, kayaks and the lilly pad and there were life jackets to fit everyone. Our grandkids enjoyed swimming next to the dock. Very good communication with the host.

Great property for our family of four. Cabin can accommodate more. Cabin was well equipped. We all enjoyed renting the pontoon, exploring the lake, fishing, kayaking, sitting by the fire pit, and just relaxing. The property manager, Scott, was great and was always prompt to respond to any of our questions.

Family friendly and very relaxing!
Our family of five plus our dog stayed for a few nights. The house was comfortable and has a great sleep arrangement for us and the kids. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked for what we needed. The house is beautiful and the property too. We played games and did puzzles. We even skied at Powder Ridge in New Year’s Eve. It was a great getaway!
