Welcome to South Haven Great Lakes Getaway

This comfortable South Haven retreat is the perfect location to unwind and enjoy time with family and friends. Relax with a glass of wine from the many local Michigan wineries while lounging on an upper deck, enjoying the peaceful view or spending time around the fire pit (firewood provided). For those that like to explore the area, it's a few miles to the quant downtown South Haven that boasts many delicious restaurants and two beautiful beaches, North Beach and South Beach. And if you'd like to walk to South Beach, it is one mile from the house and we provide a wagon to cart all your beach items. Hiking and biking trails are also located nearby.


Inside the Home

This inviting 2-story, recently remodeled house sleeps 8. It features all new furniture and appliances, a coffee bar with a Keurig and a game “corner” like no other with many board and card games for the young and young at heart. The upstairs loft features an Xbox 360 with nearly 100 video games to choose from.

Need to work while on vacation? No problem! Second bedroom has a workspace with wifi available throughout the house.


Sleeping

The master suite features a spacious king size bed and full bath with a walkout to the 2nd floor deck.

The 2nd bedroom, located on the main floor, has a queen bed and a desk for those who might need to check a few emails while on vacation in South Haven.

The 3rd bedroom features two twin beds, perfect to give kids a space of their own.

The loft features a fold out queen bed with a memory foam mattress.


Outdoor space

A beautifully manicured back yard featuring a two-story deck and a fire pit (firewood provided). A Weber charcoal grill is also available (charcoal and firestarter provided).


The location

Mere moments from shopping at the varied boutiques and shops of downtown South Haven. Old Harbor Village is a must see for people looking to take a bit of the South Haven charm home with them.


Dine on local specialties at Three Blondes, Clementines, Taste or the Black River Tavern and don't miss the ice cream treats at Sherman's Dairy Bar, a short drive East of downtown South Haven.


It is a quick drive to both South and North beach where you and your guests can spend the day basking in the Lake Michigan sun, enjoying the sand and various watersports.


For the more adventurous, a short 5-minute drive north is the Kal-Haven Trailhead. This converted 34.5-mile railroad bed turned bike and snowmobile trail features stunning views as you head east towards Kalamazoo.
