Deer, stay & ski
We loved the beautiful mule, deer nestling up to the birdfeeders, just outside our breakfast window each morning, staring at us while we stared at it. Beautiful sunrise and sunset, overlooking the hill, sloping down to a white expansive mountainous view. Very comfortable setting, super well equipped kitchen And work even able to watch our beloved Celtics and Bruins over beer and pizza dinner.

Great last minute family getaway
My husband, 3 kids, father and mother in law decided to take this last minute getaway from the heat in Oklahoma. The house was very clean, comfortable, and worked as a great landing spot in between fishing trips and adventures. The back porch was our favorite evening dinner spot with the whole family.

No water
First morning we woke up with no water. Called our contact for the stay with no reply. If it wasn’t from a friend who has rentals in the area and getting a hood of the manager for us I am not sure what we would have done. Water was delivered Monday afternoon to “fill” the tank. Tuesday morning no water… they came with two loads and we were good until Thursday afternoon. The maintenance staff and Christine were great! The experience not so much. The house needs a humidifier. It is very dry. The spiral staircase had sharp edges on it that luckily no one was hurt on it. Water pressure in the showers can be better. I won’t be staying at this house again.

Has Everything
This cabin is beautiful, easy to get to, and has everything necessary to make you feel at home. In the kitchen you will literally find everything necessary for your stay. This isn't an exaggeration, the owners have equipped it better than most homeowners do. Parking with our crew-cab truck and trailer was easy too. Best recommendation I can make is to say we'll stay here again, I'm certain of it.

Comfy Colorado home
Beautiful view, very clean, and very cozy. Miscommunication on some amenities but quickly and easily accommodated. I would absolutely stay here again. River access for fishermen is close, grocery store in town is quick drive, and again—view is so beautiful! I found the King bed in the bedroom very comfortable and kitchen has everything. We ran out of nothing, had plenty of towels, and house appears very lived-in and enjoyed.

Property manager is horrible!
Property is okay but be very concerned about renting from Vacasa property management. My son left his wallet at the house and when we reached out to them they said yes we have the wallet in an email, but when I tried to reach them to arrange shipping and pay for the handling they never responded or emailed me back. They completely ignored my requests to send back the wallet - so now my 17 year old son needs to get a mew drivers license during a pandemic- which as you know is an awesome experience. Thanks so much to the following person who would never get back to me! Her is her info Julie V Vacasa Good luck to anyone that has to work with Julie - she’s the worst!

Quiet and peaceful
We really enjoyed this property. It has everything you need. All appliances are available including a slow cooker. Although South Fork is a small town, the grocery store is very decent. The view from this chalet is breathtaking. We stayed for 2 weeks and would have loved to stay longer. We will be back. My husband works remotely, and the internet is very reliable and fast. It was a nice and safe escape. The house is very clean. We had an early snowstorm, early for the beginning of September, and watching the birds, chipmunks and rabbits frolic in the snow was like stepping in a Disney movie. We enjoy hiking and we did not have far to go to find beautiful hikes. After work, my husband loved to take the dog down the road in the mountain. People in the neighborhood are very friendly. This house is very comfortable could easily accommodate 2 families.

Ski trip that didn’t happen! Stupid Corona!!
Nice & well equipped kitchen. Living room was enjoyable & beds were comfy. Master bed TV was too small and water pressure was too low to take a shower, took shower in the other bath. Mentioned it & they said they would address it. Would stay there again!! Also enjoyed the evening visits from the mule deer that came by house.

Perfect Cabin Getaway
Stayed here week of 2019-20 New Years. Cabin was perfect getaway we were looking for. Big lot, covered in snow and great views. Deer and wildlife would walk right up to the porch to graze while we were in the living room. Very quick drive to South Fork and not a bad drive through mountain pass to Wolf Creek Ski Area. Cabin was well-stocked and property manager was very accommodating and helpful! One thing to know is that it is not central heating/cooling, so in order keep the cabin warm in the winter it relies on a bunch of space heaters and a wood-pellet burning stove. Worked just fine although at night it was a little difficult to keep warm for us. Only recommendation to the owner/manager would be to include a few humidifiers. Overall a fantastic cabin getaway and exactly what we were imagining.

Great location! We enjoyed the view of snow covered trees, ground, and hills from living room windows. Perfect and quiet location for our winter retreat. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for us to do our cooking in. The home had plenty of space for all of us and our good natured pups. Diana, and her husband, Jim, were available as needed. Thank you!

Mountain Retreat with All the Trimmings
This is probably the best equipped VRBO we’ve ever used. If they don’t have it, you probably don’t need it! The property manager was FABULOUS and more than helpful. Our only caveat is for older adults . . . The second bedroom is up a spiral staircase, which could be tricky in the middle of the night. All in all, we are 100% satisfied.
