"Stayed over at this property for a ladies retreat. It was a spacious place as described but unfortunately meant that it took forever to heat up and some rooms never got warm. Would avoid in the winter months unless you have a portable heater. The owner did bring us wood for the fire place so used that - very pretty and warm. The place could’ve been better cleaned in our opinion as there was clear evidence of prior occupants (empty alcohol bottles in drawers etc). I think this place would be...

"wow wow wow. our stay was exceptional in all ways from the serenity of the beautiful countryside and hearing the sounds of the sheep cows and horses. The cottage was very spacious and well equipped and exceptionaly clean with very high standards in all the furnishings Farmer Tim and his wife were delightful people and very accommodating. we asked for a tea pot. next there there is a tea pot waiting for us at our front door nothing wa to much trouble for them. we will definitely be retuning...

"Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us."

"This property feels like you are house sitting. Everything you expect and more was provided. Having travelled from London where the accommodation varied, this home was a relief to stay in. The only real problem for us was that my spouse is very tall so had to duck when using the stairs."

"The property owners were great and very responsive to our American quirks. They were friendly and on site to help at all times. Great accommodations and super owners. "The location of the property was as expected with the furniture clean. The description did not mention parking or assistance with this so it was annoying to find out that you can park outside on the single yellow during certain times - neighbours park there though knowing it is a rental. Our biggest disappointment was the kitchen which was not fully equipped. No microwave, toaster, tea towels, oven dishes, frying pan, chopping board, standard utensils etc. We planned on having Christmas lunch...
