Much better than the generic box rooms you get given at chain hotels. It was all well equiped and well functioning. Double bed not the comfiest I’ve slept on - a relatively thin mattress. All the same, it was warm, cosy, and perfect for what I needed this weekend. Friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Full English breakfast was sensational. Thank you. "

"We stayed in Room 8 for four nights and had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was made to order by the chef and was absolutely delicious. The dinners were magnificent – and the Sunday roast was one of the best we've ever had! Everything was made from scratch, with perfectly cooked vegetables and a choice of pork, beef, lamb, or chicken (or even a mix of meats!). "Nicely furnished room, comfortable bed and excellent shower. All staff friendly and accommodating. Wide range of dining options for dinner, breakfast a great spread available and recommend the breakfast bap. Tiny minus point, my wife’s eggs Benedict had overdone eggs. Would definitely revisit. "
