This building is a historic landmark, built by Edward Edward's in the 1800s Era. It has been home to multiple businesses over the years to include the South Charleston Bank, which opened in 1863, a dentist office, hair salon, and T-shirt shop.
The upstairs loft has been refurbished to what you see today as a super cozy, relaxing, upscale apartment. You can make memories of your own while being a part of the rich South Charleston history.

Weekend Stay
Property was very unique and clean. Was so happy with my choice to stay here with friends over a hotel. We ran a marathon in London, Ohio and this was a great spot to recover and rest while enjoying each others company!

The place was super convenient for our trip to a livestock camp in London, OH.
The town was cute and quiet. The coffee shop across the street is nice. Communication with the property owner was prompt. Overall very nice and would stay again.

Wonderful Stay
A great loft and would highly recommend staying here!! Rachel had everything we could need and was super easy to work with…she went above and beyond for us, which was so appreciated!! Accessibility for an elderly grandparent was the only issue- the 1800’s era stairs are narrow and steep, so extra care and assistance was needed to make sure a fall did not occur.

Nice stay in Quiet town
Very nice rental. It was a cool old property (old bank I think) that has partially been converted to a living space. Lots of character and conversion was well done. Well stocked with everything you would need for a stay. So much nicer than a hotel stay. Walking distance to malt shop and IGA grocery. Town is super quiet and low key. Stairs to second floor are steep so a consideration if you have someone that has difficulties. We had no issues.

It's a gem!
Lovely updated modern apartment situated in the top floor of a 150 year old building. Make sure you can walk up a flight of stairs easily. Steep entry to a very welcoming space.

Staying in Downtown South Charleston
This is a beautifully upgraded apartment on the main road of South Charleston. In addition to modern furnishings, including a Roomba, Rachel has provided thoughtful extras, such as some light snacks, extra toiletries, etc. If you are not comfortable with stairs, this is not the place for you. The stairs are a product of their time (1800s) and quite steep by today's standards. However, once you arrive at the second floor, you will be quite happy with what you find. I was.

Lovey stay
I stayed in South Charleston for a business trip. This apartment was incredibly clean and a wonderfully sweet location. For those looking to stay here, keep in mind that the stairs to get up to the apartment are very old and steep. You’ll get a good leg workout in. 🙂

Property was as described. Very nice accommodations. Newly renovated bath and kitchen. We had a power outage however the property managers came in a timely manner and brought lanterns and extra blankets to keep us comfortable.

Very lovely space!
My husband and I stayed with our 12 & 14 year old. The cute little space is above an unused store front. It has been completely re-done with new appliances, beautiful floors, a luxurious bathroom as well as two bedrooms. Very comfortable! Very nice! Advice for others interested in this property: Very nice fun experience, but not for anyone who has problems climbing stairs while carrying luggage. The stairs are very steep. Other than that, it was perfect for us!

Truly Phenomenal
This was hands-down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The space was so clean. The beds and couches were so comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for two people (and there were pop tarts in the welcome box!).The town doesn’t have much to see, but the coffee shop across the street and the library and were so quaint. They even offered painting classes next to the coffee shop! It’s a cozy town that’s great for a quick getaway. Rachel was so responsive and accommodating and made sure that we had an easy stay. We also tried Speakeasy Ramen which was a scenic 20 minute drive away and wow - it’s a must visit. I would definitely recommend booking this place and am already planning my return visit!
