Once you figure out the awkward parking situation, the detached laundry room, and finicky heating & cooling, the rest of your time will be some of the best you've ever had. Mountain King has one of the best balconies in the entire world, I'm willing to wager, and walking straight into Yellowstone Park was one of the coolest wildlife experiences I've had. "Tiny, quaint, cabin. Loved the setting and the staff were really helpful. Could use some repairs on the flooring in the bathroom and the carpet was badly stained. But we would stay there again for sure. 👍 Had super easy access to Yellowstone which we loved. Total “Northern Exposure” vibe going on. 😉"

"From beginning to end my experience with this property and the property manager were excellent. The instructions for the property were thorough, thoughtful and kind. I spoke with Jenny and she was amazing. My husband and I loved hanging out in the hot tub overlooking Rock Creek while the snow fell all around us. "We had a great time! It was close to ski resort. Had lots of room for us to spred out. The kitchen was well equipped. Lots of towels. Especially loved the provided robes and flip-flops for the hot tub!It should be noted that there is no cellular reception in the house and the provided WiFi is spotty. This wasn't a big problem for us but if you need to be in communication a lot plan ahead. "

"Super cute, clean and nice. We stayed in the winter. The wood burning stove is a cool touch and everything was as we thought. One note for folks coming in the winter is that the parking is a bit away from the cabin so you need to lug your luggage and food through the snow, which may not be easy for everyone. Happy traveling, nice place!"

Main downfalls were that we couldn’t get through the back gate to unlock the door so we had to walk around the fence, through knee deep snow, to get to the door and get inside. Also the snow was blown in decently already before we got there and it wasn’t cleared once during our 4 day stay. "
