"This property is just beautiful. Perfect location in a private setting. Stunning views across the water. Lots to do and see on this Island. I recommend it to everyone looking for a great escape. House is extremely comfortable and clean."

"Outside looks like a little old shack. Inside is lovely and comfortable. It has been made very homely. Reception isn't great in the area but there are dvds and books, some beach toys to keep the kids entertained in down time."

"Idyllic location and nice beach house with great views. We were greeted by wallabies and enjoyed feeding them the wallaby food provided. The house has great access to the beach, walks and boat tour departure area so very handy. Communication wth Andrea was very friendly with an easy check in experience. Only comment would be that there's only one lounge so seating was a bit cosy for four adults. And it's a good idea to bring groceries with you if arriving late. All in all, we had a great stay in...

"Clean, great views and good base for touring the island. Would be much better if fly screens were on windows and doors in bedrooms as it got very warm at night (we visited in summer). We managed by keeping bedroom doors open and having the air con on overnight."

"This was our second stay and again it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this beautiful home in a glorious waterfront position - my husband caught some fish on our second night.Wonderfully equipped with everything we could want and will more than likely have yet another stay in the future.- thank you for sharing your wonderful home."

"Beautiful house for a 5 day family stay - big verandah with comfy seating, table, bbq overlooking the water, perfect for sunset drinks and oysters. Spacious open living/ dining/ modern kitchen area, excellent for cooking up and sharing delicious feasts and then lounging around for family movie nights. Excellent bathrooms for showering off after long beach days. Close to beach, pub (outside tables overlooking the beach), coffee etc. Sarah, our host, was super-responsive to our requests and...

"Castaway Cottage is a fabulous, homely and comfortable cottage literally a stone’s throw from a wonderful beach. It’s delightfully cared for, with great views from the sitting rooms and master bedroom. We felt immediately home! It has a well equipped kitchen and good bathroom which features an actual bath, which was great. Totally adored our stay and want to return."

"Perfectly located across the quiet road from a fantastic white sand beach. It was a beautiful comfortable home with beachy decor. Very secure yard for our friends dog, who loved watching for rabbits. It was very well stocked and had everything we needed except a BBQ, but the kitchen works very well.Loved listening to the sound of the waves.Bug spray was essential in summer."

"Cottage was full of character in an ideal location for bird and wildlife viewing. We even had our own bird hide. Bruny Island was our first stop in Tasmania, and was well worth a visit. Would go back if opportunity arises."
