Lowry’s Retreat

Lowry’s retreat is a couples perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Come and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature, as you relax in the hot tub. Roast hot dogs over an open flame as you gaze at the stars and let the stress of everyday life melt away. Take a hike at one of the local parks less than ten miles away. Just retreat for the weekend. ( There’s no cell service). Lowry’s retreat was designed for two guests only no kids or pets.

Nice place for a weekend getaway
My husband and I rented the cabin for the weekend as a getaway from city hustle and bustle. The cabin was just perfect for a couple. The hot tub was nice at night. We enjoyed exploring nearby Old Man’s Cave. We had a great trip!

Great time!
Had a lot of fun hiking hocking hills and this cabin was a good place to return to at the end of the day! There were a lot of ladybugs in the bathroom for some reason but not too big of a deal. And yes there is actually a Pac-Man arcade game in the bedroom! Make sure to bring your own toilet paper, we were only given half a roll to use :/

We absolutely loved the cabin!! It is such a great place to get away an enjoy the peace an quiet. My boyfriend and i loved the view an all the surrounding things to do. Was an amazing way to relive my childhood as well. Ash cave was always a huge part of my life. Was so nice an clean would definitely recommend this cabin to everyone. Definitely plan on another stay. ❤️💥💥💥💥💥

Plan To Stay Again
My husband and I truly enjoyed the property. Hanging outside with the birds was our favorite part. We have a few different locations we love and this was added to the list. Even driving a few minutes away to the store to grab a few items we forgot and site seeing was nice. The only thing we would change are the bed sizes in a lot of these gorgeous cabins. My husband is over 6ft and couldn't sleep comfortably. In order for us to get rest he decided to sleep on the couch. Other than that we have no complaints!

It was a really nice quiet cabin an updated which was nice an perfect for 2 ppl only thing that sucked was no WiFi so we could look up places to see how far away they were but overall is was a great clean place and i would 100 percent rent there again.

It was a great location, but not having Internet made it a total loss
It is winter time, not having any blankets made it a little rough, not having the Internet we could not call the owner or management to get some more.

We will definitely be back!!
This was our 2nd time in Hocking Hills. Our first time we rented a cabin as well. This was so much better. Extremely clean very private. Even with the owners living down the hill we never heard or saw them. The bathroom was very nice and had great water pressure. The bed was comfy but could be better if it was a queen size. The hot tub was pefect and very well cared for. The only detractor for us was no WiFi. We realized we like only being attached to the world for a few minutes a day when we got close to Logan. We had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be back soon.

Power went out Saturday afternoon...no candles or extra blankets...no communication from owners ...no supplies like candles or extra blankets...cold and quiet night left as soon as daylight came as to see any downed trees or power lines ...mostly disappointed in owners not reaching out to there guests due to weather conditions..

Peaceful Getaway
We enjoyed our weekend getaway. Lowrys retreat was in a very quiet and almost remote area which was perfect! Not a far drive away from Hocking Hills which was great.
