Affordable and convenient to ND
We were in the house only to unwind in the evening and to sleep. It was nice enough for us and was convenient to the Notre Dame campus, which was the focus of our visit. The filters above the oven are filthy (smelly, even) and need to be cleaned. Oddly, we heard a bird chirping somewhere in the house one evening but could find nothing. Otherwise, the place met our needs.

Lovely little reunion
The property was generally clean, spacious, and situated in a quiet and safe part of town. We found it easy to get to Notre Dame and our favorite restaurants near downtown south bend and in nearby Mishawaka. The host was a wonderful communicator and very accommodating. My party had a wonderful time and I would recommend this place to other groups.

Very easy check in, rooms were nice, but listing states 2 queen beds common area, so we thought the sofa extended out to bed, not the case, no queen beds, and the microwave didnt work, but other than that it was a nice stay

Great overnight stay!
Our family (three kids, 9, 7, 5) had a great night here. The bunk beds were a hit! Spacious and great for spreading out, near anything we needed. Would definitely stay here afain

Great property for a long weekend stay near Notre Dame University. Had everything as listed and we had a great time. Having just one bathroom was a problem as we were 8 people that stayed.

One night stay
The host was very responsive and allowed us to check in early to get changed for a wedding, which we were very grateful. Upon entering the house a strong smell of cat urine and mold, we changed rather quickly and left. Some of the beds had stains on them. Since we did arrive early we understood it would not be fully cleaned, the housekeeper did tell us she was finished with the bedrooms though. We did not stay at the house due to the smell. The front yard is all overgrown and unwelcoming. Very quiet neighborhood and close to where we needed to go. Wish we could have stayed since we paid for it and live 2 hours away, but the smell was so horrendous we decided to drive home.

Great location for our event
Hosted my daughter's bridal shower here. This house gave us plenty of space for our party while also giving out of town guests a comfortable place to stay. Brian was helpful, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great place!
We stayed here the week of July 4th. Everything would have been a 5, except there was laundry in the washer and dryer and hair in the bathroom sink. Also, the fireworks were deafening the entire time!

Great location
We had a great stay at this home. Do be fooled by the only picture of the front of the house. The home is conveniently located to Notre Dame and the surrounding cities. If we return for another stay we will definitely looked them up again.

Good property when you need multiple bedrooms
Communication was great. Yard should have been mowed or at least kept up. Plus garbage was overflowing from previous renter. It worked well for our weekend at ND. My biggest issue was that the one bath was very small, especially with the options to have a number of people stay. We had 4 adults and it worked but not ideal situation.

South Bend Trip
The property was very clean and maintained. There was enough towels for days, a lot of kitchen space and a nice family room for eating dinner together. The only thing we ran out of was toilet paper and we couldn't find any garbage bags. The neighborhood was very nice, and close to everything we came to do. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us!

Just what we needed!
This house was just what we needed for a get together for our college roommate reunion and our young families. Everything we needed was available. Brian was very prompt in responding to all of our messages. The neighborhood was quiet. House was clean. Beds were comfortable. And location was close to lots of parks. I would recommend this location.

Great space!
I was a little nervous about booking this house, since there wasn’t a picture of the outside of the house and we didn’t know the neighborhood. But the inside of the house was just as pictured and was very clean and spacious. The host was great at communicating and allowed us to bring our dog that is 60 pounds. If we had a question, the host answered immediately. We loved the large sectional sofa in the living room. The neighborhood felt safe and we were able to take our dog on a walk. We just wish the yard were fully fenced-in since it snowed and it would have been nice to let the dog out on her own. It was close to campus— only about an 8 minute drive to our daughter’s apartment across from the ND soccer field.

Dirty and underwhelming
This property was a mixed bag. It was not fully cleaned, and was sparsely furnished. The landlord was very communicative but did not follow through on his promises. We encountered the following dirty items: -Urine and hair on the toilet -Water and soap splatters on the mirror -Hairs and dust on both the bathroom sink and in the shower -A half full glass of old stagnant mirror on a window sill -The floor was not swept, and was covered in cat or dog hair that made our socks filthy -The sheets on two of the beds were not clean. Upon raising these issues with the landlord he promised to refund us half the cleaning fee. Later when I followed up with him regarding this he stated that I had not left him a 5 star review. When I communicated to him that my understanding was that the refund was to compensate me for providing substandard accommodations not for a five star review he terminated communications with me. The above issues aside, my friends and I did enjoy our stay here. The dining room was very large, with a good sized table perfect for chatting and board games. It was nice that we were each able to have our own beds, though the 1 bathroom was bit rough. The neighborhood is exclusively residential and was very quiet at all hours. We were there 2 nights and did not see any of the neighbors. The location was very convenient for visiting Notre Dame, the South Bend farmer's market and for shopping.

Good place for sleep and clean up
House was sufficient to get some sleep and shower. We stayed for baton twirling national championships so was out of house 12-15hr per day. We would not have enjoyed stay if needing to be in house more. Yard is overrun with weeds and not very welcoming. Not able to sit outside and enjoy the day or evening. Vents and light fixture very dirty and bugs in them. Strong pet urine and vomit smell. Couch very uncomfortable. Neighbor is very loud and angry with questionable visitors all night. Child was scared quite often cause of her outdoor demeanor. Had a worry with maintenance guy accessing home when we were home without notifying us. Entering garage which has access to home with us in it and all our stuff. No notice of this given. But it is Close to campus tho and close to grocery stores also. Check in and out was easy.
