Kick off your shoes on the tile flooring in the front foyer and smile as you sink into the living room sofa in front of the fireplace. Boasting a unique architectural structure, vaulted knotty pine ceilings, and plenty of space for everyone in your crew, this house is hard to beat for your next large family gathering!

Spend your days soaking up the Oregon sun from the comfort of the multi-level deck when you're not out at the beach. The upper level offers fantastic views of the beach and a lovely area for a midday snack at the outdoor dining space. Some other options include working out in the fitness room, playing pool in the game room, or picking a novel from the downstairs library.

As stomachs start to growl, make your way to the fully equipped kitchen to prepare a delicious spread for your crew! If you're more of a grill master than an Iron Chef, the Pellet Stove with a smoker in the front entrance is perfect for your chargrilled needs.

When it's time to hit the sack, retreat to one of the 5 comfortably furnished bedrooms to rest up for the next day's activities. Each of the bedrooms offer plenty of storage space to keep your outfits wrinkle-free, flat-screen cable TVs (with the exception of 1 room), and loads of rustic décor.

Grab the beach chairs and umbrellas and walk 300 steps over Highway 101 to spend the day soaking up the sun at the Lost Creek State Recreation Site. This beach is fantastic for a variety of reasons including its long running trail, ample public parking, and numerous spots to set up your beach home base!

Rinse off in the outdoor shower after you get back from the beach and plan where you're going to dinner for the night. Some top-notch local options include South Beach Fish Market, Local Ocean Seafoods, Fishtails Cafe, Off the Hook Bar & Grill, Clearwater Restaurant, Georgie's Beachside Grill, and Rogue Ales & Spirits Brewer's on the Bay.

The closest winery hub will be the Noble Estate Newport, located just over 7 miles from your door. If you're interested in going on a winery tour, there are a variety of local vintners nearby like the Flying Dutchman Winery, Depoe Bay Winery, Airlie Winery, and Spindrift Cellars.

Some other ideas for activities include exploring the Siuslaw National Forest, visiting a local oyster farm (like Oregon Oyster Farm Inc), or simply taking a relaxing drive along the South Coast Highway! The Oregon Aquarium is another fantastic place on rainy days or take a fishing and whale watching excursion out of Newport.

Perfect for our early Christmas

Excellent Property!
This home had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations for comfort and ease of use. It was a very short walk to the open beach. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms a plenty. The billiards table was a big hit, along with the hot tub and the view of the ocean from the upstairs fireplace area and the back deck. We hope to take advantage of this home again someday, it was very conducive to our larger group. Many thanks!

We had a great time. It was wonderful having so many rooms with King size beds. I've got 4 kids and the large size rooms was so nice for our whole group. The extra stuff like sand toys, beach chairs and baby gates made everything easy. Thank you Ronda for letting us check in early without even asking. All of us agree we would love to stay at your home in the future.

Sunshine on the Oregon coast
A few of my friends and our families (children ages 2 to 7) gathered to spend the weekend on the coast. The house was perfect. There was a kids room with toys which our kids spent hours playing together with. We made the short walk across the highway to the beach, which was beautiful, played in the sand, found seashells, then came back and warmed up in the hot tub! We made family style meals in the kitchen, and shared a bottle of wine on the deck, with ocean views. It was a perfect weekend, the house was great and the host was accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Spring Fling
We truly enjoyed our stay at this South Beach Home. It met all of our expectations and exceeded some. Each of the rooms were large enough, that everybody was comfortable. (There was 5 of us) There were lots of areas for interaction, with lots of room in each area. The house was clean. The home had lots of condiments so that only the required food had to bought. Everything worked as it should have including the hot tub, deck heater, and BBQ. The early communications was critically important to us and that communication was well done. Ultimately we had to book the location early in our travel plans, but cancellation was accepted until close to the travel date. This latitude was critically important, a lesson learned over the past few years. Very well done, and we will return next year.

Stunning! This house was amazing! Before we even entered, my family was remarking on how beautiful the property was. The house had everything we needed, which was a huge bonus as we have been in larger homes with less amenities. The kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were amazing. Everyone commented about how comfortable the beds were multiple times. We've never slept so well in a rental. There are 3 master bedroom suites in the home as well as a children's room. There were plenty of places for us to gather but also separate and have our own spaces as needed. The outdoor area was perfect! The decks were amazing with hot tub, propane heaters, fire ring and plenty of seating. I wish we could have used the area more as it was raining and windy our entire stay. The upstairs seating area by the fireplace was our favorite to view the ocean and congregate. The only difficult part of our trip was the walk to the ocean. I only mention it because we had small children and it was a little risky to run across 101 with them. There is limited view coming from both sides of the road and those cars are flying so we were running across every time we came or went to the ocean. Just something to be aware of but certainly not a deterrent from leasing the property. The location on the coast was perfect! We love the Depot Bay, Newport, Waldport, and Yachats areas! Seal Rock is one of our favorite beaches and we love visiting the lighthouses in the area.

Huge house, ocean view
We stayed at the South Beach house with a total of 10 people from two families and we all fit easily. The property was exactly as advertised and was well taken care of - knives were sharp and floors were clean. Having said that, it's definitely not a new house and the furnishings and overall condition have seen some good use. The location itself is good for solitude and beach access, but not exactly near anything else. You can hear the crash of the waves but also the traffic on the highway. We loved watching the bats in the evening but be aware some are nesting on or in the shingles of the house, so they're... very close!

Really Great Property
We had a great week at this house and loved everything about it. It is super well stocked which we appreciated. Only one complaint around the midweek the hot tub got a bit of a dirty feel and we couldn't find any shock tablets or anything onsite so we didn't use it in the latter part of our stay. Thanks again!!

Great Stay on the Oregon Coast
We rented this lovely home for a pre-Christmas holiday gathering with several of our out-of-state adult children, spouses and kids. The layout was spacious and the amenities generous making it a great space for lots of people and activities without feeling crowded or cramped. The home is well equipped for preparing meals and dining with a large group. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and undertook many tournaments over the course of our stay! The walk to the beach is easy; no issues crossing a busy highway either. The ocean view from the house, through the large trees and across the lawn, was spectacular. Sitting in the bay window area overlooking that ocean view was a favorite while enjoying our morning coffee. We will certainly keep this place in mind for a return visit!

South Beach December Family Stay
The house and surrounding property is stellar. Beautiful ocean views and the house was able to easily accommodate our group of 9. The walk to the beach was easy -- even crossing the highway was not as challenging as we thought it may be. Large spacious sleeping rooms and the gathering areas -- kitchen, dining room, and TV/ pool table area were perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped to cook our meals and the owners have thought of everything when it comes to providing for large groups.

I have no more positive words to say about this property! It was amazing in every single way and the attention to detail is exceptional. The amenities are so carefully cultivated. Here are the highlights, in no particular order: incredibly diverse sleeping arrangements, handicapped accessible bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower, pool table, hot tub, TVs anywhere you need them, wii for the kids, pantry of spices for any needs, extra refrigerator space for beverages, high quality bathroom fixtures, motion sensor sink in kitchen, simplehuman motion soap dispenses in every bathroom, dispensers in every shower for body wash and shampoo and conditioner, a patio fire table, patio heater, excellent kitchen appliances, knives, and pans. We can’t wait to come again. It was everything we hoped it could possibly be.

Everything you could want
Spacious and well-stocked house with gorgeous views, close proximity to beach, and lots of fun things to do. Kitchen has everything you might need, and the laundry and extra fridge were welcome additions. It was particularly nice to have good coffee and kitchen staples for our use. Ronda was attentive when we needed something, and the instruction “book” was clear and helpful. We had a wonderful family celebration and would definitely come to this house again. Highly recommended!

Awesome House
This was an awesome home, very beautiful and very spacious. With all our grandkids we had 16 people there, eight adults and plenty of room for everyone. The home was plentifully stocked with things like TP, paper towels, laundry soap, shampoo conditioner and body soap which was greatly appreciated. Hot tub was a popular place and worked very well. Upper deck was beautiful with its views of the ocean. We were concerned about the walk to the beach and especially crossing Highway 101, but it is quite easy and never was a problem, however all children were strictly supervised by adults and not left to their own. The owners also provided many beach toys and a fully stocked kitchen including both decaf and caffeinated coffee beans. Loved our time there and will definitely consider it again for a future event.

We returned to this wonderful house for our annual family reunion. The house has literally everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They even brought in a griddle for the pancake breakfast. The view is wonderful, the beach a short walk away and the house has plenty of room for games at the place. Grandpa showed his grandsons how to play a good game of pool. The master bed is AWESOME too. We will definitely return. Thanks Rhonda for being so accommodating!

It was a beautiful location and the home was exceptionally stocked for the guests..
We had a lovely time in Newport/ South Beach. Predictions were for a rainy week but our afternoons were all sunny. We visited the Aquarium, Hatfield Marine Science Center, and Yaquina Light House. But we did all of our meals in, so were thrilled to have a well stocked and organized kitchen. Thank you!
