"Decent clean place to stay. Nothing fancy, room was a decent size. Breakfast was kept stocked during our 2 day stay. It seemed like the room has a bit of an upgrade since our last visit. "

"Room was well designed. Lots of room for bags and clothes. Heating unit was quiet and actually had a temperature setting. Liked the Dove products in the bath. Staff was very friendly and we had a nice view from our window. We may come back in the summer! "

"Check-in was speedy and front desk very friendly. Room very nice, we had a view of the lake. We came for the Walleye Drop at midnight… weather terrible but it never disappoints.. the Breakfast Chef made us feel very welcome… very nice just a little too pricey"

"We enjoyed our stay overall but since it was two adults and four children we chose to get the 3 beds with two rooms and for some odd reason they decided to put that room directly above the reception desk and over looking the entire lobby. The lobby is nice but you could hear the kids and us since we were over the reception and lobby and everything echoed. We had a couple complaints of course. The kids were just being kids, excited to be in a hotel room. So, it made us a little uncomfortable and we probably won’t go back unless they have another 3 bedroom away from the lobby. Another thing we had to go upstairs and that was a bit much for the kids and when we had got breakfast and bringing in bags. I didn’t see an elevator but there may have been one someone further from our room. However, the ladies at the front desk were nice and great service! We have stayed at a few hotels in Sandusky and I will say this was our best one yet as far as cleanliness."
