"I would recommend the Hotel Hostal Caps Mall. PROS: 1. Located in a mall. This makes the hotel very safe and convenient. The mall has a gym, food court (McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, a few steak houses, etc), Oxxo, Exito, movie theater, ATMs, casino, bar, etc. 2. Quiet (which is rare in Bogota) since it is located inside a mall on the 3rd floor. No road or party noise coming from the street. 3. "The dome rooms were beautiful and rustic and fit in perfectly with the natural surroundings. The interiors were clean and well appointed, with heating and cooling. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom and shower were good. You couldn’t beat the lakeside location for views and strolls along the volcanic rocky beach. We spent four nights there and could have spent way longer, exploring the beautiful surroundings. "

Cons: Very hot in the pods, only 1 toilet which has no lock, showers barely had water (only cold), stairs to top pod were tiny and ours was broken, no lockers so we had to keep our luggage in our pod, spa advertised in pictures had no water. Pros: Good location and nice staff"
