"We were given a warm friendly welcome from owner Nicolas who showed us around his lovely homely farmhouse. The house looked stunning in the warm Charentes sunshine and is set in magnificent gardens filled with flowers and a fascinating variety of trees including cherry, apple, fig, olive, chestnut etc, etc. The top of the garden has space for games and would be great for kids. "Our stay at Robert’s house far exceeded our expectations. The house is truly beautiful and it was well equipped for our large party. "The property had many attributes. The property is situated close by vineyards and farmland. It had a lovely orchard where the children could play freely, pick plums and apples which were later turned into cakes and crumbles as well as having a really lovely swimming pool. As the weather was hot the children and adults used the pool daily and had a great deal of fun. "We had a great stay at this location. Hosts were very good to work with and the place was wonderful. Tons of space and very well equipped. They helped us with finding restaurants as well as wineries to visit. The town of version isn’t much but lots of stuff close by including Blay which was very interesting. 45 minutes drive to Bordeaux which is a great city to visit. We would come again for sure."

"This property is exactly as pictured. The home was perfect for our family consisting of my husband, our three adult daughters and their husbands, my sister and me. The home is well equipped for groups our size. The setting is absolutely beautiful. While on the property you feel secluded, but stores and restaurants are minutes away. We had one mechanical issue which was corrected in less than fifteen minutes. Our children enjoyed the tour of the winery and the wines were wonderful! Loved...

"The house was ideal for our 3 generations ranging in age from 17 months to 70. It was fully equipped for a large family and items such as pool towels and fans in all bedrooms were much appreciated. The children enjoyed the spacious grounds with trampoline and swing, and the beautiful infinity pool was lovely for playing and swimming. "This is a beautiful gite in rural Charente-Maritime. It's close to some really pretty towns and to a number of excellent swimming lakes. We are family of six (grandparents, parents, two children) and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor space for all of us. "We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a place for friends and family for a get together."
