"Unfortunately we didn’t like much: the price was exorbitant compared to other accommodation stayed at in France, for very little provided. No internet service, no tv (both mentioned in write-up), erratic plumbing system, inadequate reading lights, blown light globes, skimpy towels and pillows - even the magazines on the coffee table were 3 years old. Given the out-of-the-way location, the quiet peace was relaxing, with only the sound of the chooks waking us in the morning; nearest restaurant...

"It is a really nice place to stay, we loved the atmosphere and the trust the owners gave with their hospitality made us feel right at home ☺️ Our little one (2 years old) enjoyed feeding the neighbors chickens every evening and all the toys that were available! In the morning we would explore the area around Chacrise (such as Donjon de Septmonts and the Chemin des Dames route with the Caverne du Dragon or visit some of the Champagne houses near Reims) and in the afternoon were able to relax...
