"We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a place for friends and family for a get together."

"The gite was lovely and a lot bigger than we expected, but there were only 4 of us who visited. The gite had everything we needed, and the view was lovely - across the road was a vineyard, but the gite is on a road where, although cars are few and far between, they do drive far too fast. We had a lovely few days at the beginning of our holiday but on the fourth day a taxi drove into us at speed (not near the gite, on the way to Jonzac) and the hire car we were in was flipped over and ended up...

"My wife and I spent a fantastic, relaxing 10 days in St Fort sur Gironde. We rented a very well equipped and comfortable 2-bedroom cottage with a private heated pool. As well as finding the gite all we wanted, the village and locality were wonderful too. We were also fortunate to enjoy sunny, warm weather for most of the time we stayed so we were able to swim and sunbathe almost every day."

We did not realise the Villa does not supply any bedding or towels, so this had to be flown in and others by car which was frustrating. It would be nice if the Villa can recommend local shops, eateries and places of interest as nothing is supplied or recommended. WiFi took a few days to be sorted and both patio and pool furniture is in need a of change. Overall, lovely Villa."

The house is big with plenty of space for our 3 family groups, and has a fantastic covered veranda to keep out of the midday sun. "We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "
