"The property is in an excellent position, close to shops, restaurants and the beach, there was parking outside. The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped. Jonathan was a pleasure to communicate with and was able to answer questions I had, very promptly and with ease. The undercover area could do with a face lift as it was very dirty so this let the property down a bit over all a great house just wish we could of picked it up and moved it somewhere nicer."

"Lovely location and site. Nice and quiet. Lodge was superb, clean and had everything we needed. Host was very responsive to messages. A lovely break away, plenty to do in surrounding areas. We wanted to stay outside of Great Yarmouth and this was perfect. "

"Thimble Cottage is sweet and nicely decorated but was a bit too small for 4 not large adults in our opinion. Easy location to explore delightful Southwold from. It was however rather noisy (bus stop and lovely pop up bakery queues outside main bedroom window from early in the morning, dog grooming parlour immediately behind the tiny courtyard, public bins being emptied at 5:30am in the High St). We were also greeted with an overflowing bin of rubbish in the courtyard from previous guests which...

The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the location is close to an outstanding chippy and only a short walk from the high street. I cannot recommend it enough!"
