Lovely grounds, pool and dining area, inside and out. Hotel was clean and we had an sea view that was lovely. Shower is extremely small however. Bed was hard, otherwise, bus stop right in front of hotel and shuttle service. Hotel staff very pleasant

Short bus ride from the heart of Sorrento, out of the hustle and bustle, with beautiful views over the Cape. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel, there is also shuttle service offered a few times of day for free. Clean room, the air conditioning worked so well we had to turn it off sometimes, (rarity in Italy) Staff was helpful and polite. Large breakfast spread each morning, quaint pool area to cool off in the afternoon. Family deli across the road makes lovely sandwiches, perfect to bring along on the trek down to the Roman ruins and baths, entrance to the trail was right across from the hotel.

The hotel is super convenient to everything. Bus stop at front door, cool swimming hole down the street, nice pool and breakfast. It’s definitely a good value. The staff was courteous. A bit out of the way but quiet and a great choice if you don’t want the craziness of tourists.

We had 10 great nights at Hotel Villa Igea the reception staff, restaurant staff cleaning ladies. All very friendly and helpful. Location was great with a shuttle into town and a bus stop right outside all ver quick and easy. Breakfast had absolutely everything for everyone. Lastly the pool was fantastic at the end of a long day out. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Villa Igea was the perfect stay for such a perfect holiday. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was perfect for a nice quiet stay. Although slightly out of town the hotel offered a free shuttle to get you into the centre of Sorrento which was ideal. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough for location and comfort.

Overall we enjoyed our stay - the room was quite small and beds were uncomfortable. The view from the room was spectacular. The breakfast, showers and pool were great. The location was very convenient with a bus stop out front, a convenience store across the street and a small cafe next door.

Good value for the area
The first thing to say is the food in the restaurant was excellent! You have to try the local spaghetti Nerano. A good breakfast selection. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent shuttle service down into sorrento, although if you don’t have mobility issues you could walk, if you don’t mind walking into traffic with no pavement on some parts! There’s also a bus stop right outside and a little shop opposite with non tourist priced water etc. The hotel is a little tired in places but the gardens are lovely and plenty of sun beds round the pool. We had a room over looking the back garden so it was quite quiet. Stunning views. For the price, we were very happy for the 4 nights we stayed

They had the wrong room set up. We asked for two beds. There was only one. The first one we went into was filthy. The hotel was completely deserted and looked like I stepped back in time to 1984. They brought us to a second room that had two beds, but it was smaller than my bathroom at home. Also rust around the pipes caulking around the showers completely and complete toilet was dirty as if someone had just used it. The entire place smelled like sour meat. We actually left without staying there and checked into another hotel in the area. I’m currently trying to get my money back.

Nice place little far out and up a steep incline so could use more shuttles however there are local buses which stop directly in front of the hotel. No kettle in room but very spacious

Property was nice, older. The room had a great view. The bed was hard and the shower was small. It would have been nice if the shuttle bus ran till at least 11 instead of nine. Had to take public transport every night

We got placed in this hotel last minute after our other hotel cancelled on the day - so just to be clear we didn’t choose this hotel. The location is good - €1.70 bus right outside the door takes you to the centre of town and back and is easy to use. Also it is right near a fantastic swimming hole you can walk to and a great panini shop and mini mart. The staff were nice and the place was clean. However we did have a few issues with the room. The water pressure was either so high the drain couldn’t drain it fast enough or zero. The towels were very stiff and scratchy. The air conditioning was useless. The whole hotel also gave a vibe of a retirement home. Wouldn’t stay again.
