"Park Cottage is set in a lovely location in Cally Woods (so many great walks and cycle opportunities). Also with use of the Cally Palace Hotel facilities including the swimming pool. However the house was unclean, especially the kitchen with unusable pans and not enough cutlery to sit 9 people in one setting. There was black mould on the downstairs bathroom ceiling. Such a shame as the cottage is a great space for families and could be lovely, but when I have fed back about these issues I have...

"Very pleased with the size of the rooms . The lounge had enough seating for all of our party (11) and the large dining table was excellent. The bedrooms were roomy, including a couch as well as beds. The only downside was the 3 bathrooms were some distance away. A toilet at either end would have been more practical. The kitchen was rather small but well equipped."

"Clean property, in need of certain articles replacing, 3 piece suite (assured this will be done asap), 2 flights of stairs, difficult if mobility problems. Plenty of family games, well equipped kitchen, clean and tidy, beds comfortable, not sofa bed as advertised, but single foldaway bed, plus double and 2 singles, maybe extra hanging space in singles bedroom. Lovely area, plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes, art galleries, etc. Extra activities on each week during summer, plenty of walks...

"We had a most amazing week at the mid lodge. easy booking and communicating to arrange a cot and high chair for the baby. Very spacious, comfortable cottage! beautiful kitchen, Nice size fridge/freezer, excellent setup with beds and 3 en-suite toilets [2 with shower]. nice size dining table to seat all of us comfortably! "The house was an ideal setting to see in the new year. The area has lots of interesting walks and cycling routes. The hosts provided plenty communication ahead of the booking and accomodated for our youngest guest (1 year old). The property could benefit from a few more kitchen essentials (bin bags, dish clothes etc), but this a wasn't major issue. All in all, a really nice stay."
