"We had a pretty comfortable week long stay at this location. The room was very clean and very spacious. The staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly and are multilingual. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered routine room service - at least in my experience back home apartment style lodging doesn't typically include room service, but only towel replacements. Although, there was one day we did put up the Do Not Disturb sign and we came back to fully made beds and replaced linens, which...

"This is a great hotel for families in a special part of Kyoto. The staff were particularly lovely and helpful. We will definitely stay again. We loved the happy hour and the Japanese calligraphy classes. "

"Extremely great location for exploring Gion area of Kyoto. Easy to walk to local attractions and take the buses. Property was clean and modern. Has laundry onsite if you need it. Stayed with a family of 4, 2 teenage daughters. There was sufficient room for all of us in one room. Bathrooms and specially showers were very nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kyoto. "

"We had the pokeman room with one bunk bed and 2 twin beds. It is fully equipped with a dining and kitchen area. I enjoyed how spacious it is. By far, the heated toilet is my favourite. Can’t get this in the US. "

"We had a great stay at the Mimaru Kyoto Station, really enjoyed this line of hotels. The staff was great and the apartments are well suited for families. Great to have a nice quiet place to rest with the kids with space more equivalent to western travelers. Be prepared for early rises though as the shades behind the windows do not block much light. "
