So cool!
This was such a great way to wind down while taking in the beauty of Sonoma. We had such a great time with the animals while learning about how the owner gives back to the community and takes care of orphan animals. Highly recommend for anyone that loves animals and loves a country setting.

Unique spot for Wine Country stay
This property is amazing! Comfortable, clean, and so convenient to all things Sonoma and Napa. Tania is an artist which shows in her beautiful decor (of which many of her own work adorns the walls). The animals are loves especially the goats! Stay here if you are looking for a hotel alternative with character. There’s no kitchen so be prepared to dine out (there is a fridge so we bought breakfast items to have). Bed is extremely comfortable. Had no issues sleeping, the farm sounds weren’t loud in my opinion.

Weekend getaway
The nest was a very charming cottage on a working rescue farm. We got to visit with the animals on the farm and learn about their individual stories. Our hostess was also charming and very welcoming in addition to being a fantastic photographer of the animals.

Sweet Escape
Tania's property is incredible, the space is clean, super comfortable and impeccably decorated. It was nice to be a little outside of the downtown Sonoma area while being so close to it as well. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom and shower were large and very clean. I highly enjoyed the property and getting to know Tania, I recommend the property and can't wait to visit again!

What a unique and fabulous experience. Tania, the host, was amazing, we enjoyed visiting with her and learning about all her delightful rescue animals. The cottage was perfect, quaint, all we needed and clearly has been given the artists touch. We will be back!

Charming small farm setting
My wife and I absolutely loved our experience here, and I had no idea that my wife was going to enjoy the unique animals, as much as she did. The downside were a few items missing that I believe are a must. No freezer for ice, just a small refrigerator. No wash cloths. No Iron & Ironing board. No night stand on one side of the bed, and a small fan would have been nice to get the steam out of the bathroom. Other than these items, the place was great!

Heaven
If Heaven is a place, I want it to be like this cozy, peaceful cottage with its super comfy bed; big walk in shower with lavender smells, a glass of wine with chocolates in the evening, and in the morning, a hot cup of coffee while being greeted by three "so happy to see you" family dogs. Then, when you're ready, you can wonder over to the farm and say hello to the many chickens, turkeys, rabbits, and geese. The goats, pigs and turtle will charm you as well. Spend as little or as long as you want, then venture into Sonoma (a very short distance), or other nearby towns for shopping, eating, or wine tasting. In all the places I've stayed, this is by far the best and has left the biggest impression on my heart. Thank you Tania for being such a gracious host and great mama to all the animals at Sonoma Chicks.

Could not advocate for this property more!
I am so grateful to have stumbled upon Tania's 'Sonoma Chicks' listing as I was starting my hunt for a place to stay locally for a wedding this weekend. She was the most welcoming, thoughtful host and her property is West Coast-Nancy Myers film-eque. It's paradise. Check in was a breeze, the space was exceptionally designed and unbelievably comfortable. She set up a small "kitchen" within the space so it's easy to make espresso and keep drinks / snacks cold. The bed was extremely comfortable - like wow! I loved being on a farm with easy access to 'downtown' and all that wine country has to offer. Her dogs are amazing - I woke up to have coffee on the terrace each morning with Millie. I cannot wait to come back, and to reinforce - I cannot recommend this space enough! Book it!

had the best time
I came here for some peace and alone time to celebrate my 30th. from the lovely cottage to the property itself to the even the chicken coops, everything is beautiful to look at, you can tell the space is very loved by the family. and the host Tania was incredibly sweet to leave me wine, chocolates and birthday cards from her farm stationary, welcome me in, gave me privacy but was around if needed. I walked the farm and met some of the animals, overall a great experience and I’m so glad I chose this place. as a solo female traveler the proximity to the main house made me feel safe, while still being private enough. thanks again Sonoma chicks farm! -Kayla

Farm Life in Wine Country
A delightful place to stay! If you enjoy animals and a touch of farm life yet still want wine country and a small town vibe - then do visit here! The cottage on this 3 acre property is chic in its style inside. Beautifully decorated in a vintage look. Just outside your porch (which is great place to end the day with a glass of wine) are the sweetest farm creatures. You will be able to visit with chickens, ducks, geese, goats, rabbits and one large tortoise. The hostess, Tania, is welcoming and a joy to talk with. All of this very near to town square of Sonoma with fantastic shops and eateries. You are in the heart of wine country.

Great weekend getaway to unwind and recharge
My teenage son and I spent the weekend at this property and it exceeded our expectations. It was a very cozy cottage with lots of personal touches (like fresh flowers in the bathroom and main area). Turkeys, chickens and a pig roam freely, and are very at ease with people. There's easy access to the other animals as well. The host was gracious, gave us a quick tour of the farm before we explored on our own, and I could tell she genuinely cared for each of the animals. My son even had the chance to do a couple farm chores. :) We loved our stay, and hope Henrietta (we got to name one of the chickens) is doing well!

Rejuvenating stay at the farm
Tania was a lovely host. Her studio was just what I needed for a weekend away from the family to rest and relax. It was super close (5 min drive) to Sonoma square. Everything was comfortable and clean. Lots of privacy but Tania and her husband were quick to respond to any needs throughout the weekend. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the area and be surrounded by lots of lovely animals.
