"This is such a beautiful home. It is located in a quiet area close to the center of Poitiers. The house is very large, so there was plenty of room for us to spread out. Phillipe is such a wonderful host. He was so incredibly kind and generous with his time. He drove all the way from Paris to meet us. "We have just spent a wonderful fourteen days staying in this impressive place. It was clean, very well equipped and fit for purpose. The courtyard with covered dining area and “plancha grill” for outdoor cooking were a great bonus. An impressive garden and plunge pool was also most appreciated. The host, Jo, was available personally or by phone to answer any questions. Her advice and guidance on local events and places to visit was invaluable. We look forward to returning soon. Ian."

"Arrival - we found the property with no issues. Property zip code took us straight there. Bedlinen and bathrooms were clean. Flies were a problem, mushroom growing in the shower, tiles in shower need updating and replacing, door latch plates were all loose (made doors difficult to close), we didn't manage to get the tv working at all, light fittings in the kitchen were hanging dangerously from the ceiling, oven very dirty and difficult to light (think the gas jets needed a clean - i gave up),...

"We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much."

"Loved it here! We want to come back! We stayed in a tree house and it was the perfect size for our family of 5 and our cats. We loved the pool, activities, and playground. We want to come back during the summer to do the zip lining and other activities in the warmer weather. I wish there was more food options. It was also nice to have the wifi in the lounge area by the pool. We loved walking around and seeing the different accommodations."
