"This is a shabby, dirty, and rundown hostel. Their website pictures must be photoshopped. Don't stay here if you can afford anything better. We were shocked as the pictures portrayed it in such better condition. Dirty bathroom, uneven dark halls with sheets hung across for a door. As well, the owner promised us a parking spot (two weeks prior in exchanged emails) for 10 euros and when we arrived, there wasn't any available and we were told our car would be towed. It was too late then for us...

"Reservation von Hotels.com kommt zum zweiten Mal nicht beim Hotelsystem an. Wiederholt habe ich trotz Reservation über 1h draussen gewartet für den Zutritt. Die erste Dame vom Support hat nach 30min nicht zurück gerufen und die zweite Dame hatte dann sehr freundlich geholfen. -Nichtraucherzimmer stinken nach Rauch -extrem ringhörige Zimmer, Türe von der Bäckerei ist ziemlich laut."

"Ein sehr ruhiger Ort, fantastisch direkt am See gelegen. Es gibt viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten : Radolfzell, Mettnau, Rheinfall, Konstanz, Mainau, Reichenau. Alles ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel erreichbar, innerhalb Deutschlands mit der Gästekarte kostenlos. Strandbad in fünf Minuten erreichbar, mit guter Gastronomie, im Ort hervorragende Gastronomie. Sehr gute Atmosphäre."

"The hotel was very cute and the staff very helpful in giving us ideas for beautiful hiking trails worth seeing! Extra bonus was that they had a washer and dryer and a pool table in the basement, so we could play pool and hand out while we caught up on some laundry in the middle of our trip."
