detached cottage, ideal to accommodate 6 people at the 1st floor of a renovated house at nine in 2016. It is located in the village of BIRKENWALD located 10km from Saverne and 30km of Strasbourg. The property provides a direct view of the park at the castle deer.
Come enjoy during a stay in Alsace, all the pleasures that our region offers: the Vosges, the ridge road, vineyards with its picturesque villages, the various castles (Haut-Barr, WANGENBOURG, Dabo, Nideck etc. ....), the arrow forest circuits by the Vosges club, bike paths along the Marne-Rhine canal, fitness trail 2 km, without forgetting our gastronomy and Alsatian wine road.
You have available, 5 km from the village, shops and markets of the region.
Our region offers:
- For an unforgettable evening, we recommend the fabulous shows at the Royal Palace in KIRRWILLER.
- For excitement, a day at the amusement park Europa Park, Germany.
- For nature lovers, a walk in the woods near the house.
We invite you to let yourself be lulled by the calm. Take the time to pause and open your senses; listen carefully to the songs of birds and the call of the deer. Rediscover the smell of nature, flowers and even that of the earth.

Amazing stay
This property lacks nothing - spacious, comfortable with everything you could ever need for a fabulous stay. The views of the deer each morning are delightful and Twix and Bounty (sheep which look like goats in the field) are lovely and will delight your children. M, and Mme Burger were very welcoming and hospitable and made every effort to make sure we had all information we needed. We can't speak too highly of this property - probably the best we have ever had , and not expensive. Ideal place from which to explore Strasbourg, the Alsace wine route and the Upper Vosges with its multitude of chateaux (Koenigsburg a must see), and also to pop in to Germany.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mitten im Elsass und konnten wunderbar abschalten.die Lage ist herrlich, das kleine Dorf wirklich malerisch und die Schafe waren auch sehr nett. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Große Herzlichkeit trifft tolle Unterkunft
Nach einem mega herzlichen Empfang durften wir in wunderschönen Räumlichkeiten und toller Natur unser Wochenende genießen. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Selbst ein Raclette wäre möglich. Auch eine Sauna ist vorhanden. Der Außenbereich mit direktem Blick auf das Hirsch/Rehgehege lässt einen automatisch in Urlaubsstimmung kommen. Rundum Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die fünf "Mädels" Marion, Vivi, Saskia, Steffi und Melanie.

Une location qui a tout bon !!

Un gîte superbe, spacieux, très bien équipé, y compris pour les bébés. Un accueil agréable et chaleureux. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille à profiter de balades dans la magnifique forêt toute proche et à observer les biches depuis nos chambres. Ein wundervoller Urlaub
Die Familie Burger wohnt genau gegenüber der Ferienwohnung. Das erleichtert die Kommunikation sehr. Gleich zu Beginn wurden wir herzlichst empfangen und es wurden uns ganz tolle nützliche Tipps gegeben. Jeden Morgen konnten wir die Hirsche beobachten. Dabei ganz viele Hirschkühe und ihre Kitze. Von den vielen Störchen im Elsass ganz zu schweigen. Für die Kinder gab es in der Wohnung Spielsachen und draußen einen Sandkasten und Spielzeug. Es war einfach wunderschön!

Die Unterkunft ist ideal für Familien. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet. Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Umgebung ist sehr ländlich, msn muss immer etwas fahren zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und einkaufen.

sehr geräumige, extrem gut ausgestattete, saubere Wohnung in ruhiger wunderschöner Umgebung. In Kombination mit der 2. Ferienwohnung ideal für zwei Familien, allerdings hört man recht viel aus der jeweils anderen Wohnung. Fam. Burger erwiesen sich als ausgezeichnete Gastgeber!

Gite propre spacieux et confortable
Séjour de noël très agréable, sachant que nous étions une famille de 6 personnes avec des grands enfants. Appartement spacieux lumineux et ds un état impeccable. Très confortable de part ces équipements et qui se chauffe très bien. Birkenwald est un village charmant en bordure de forêt ce qui est parfait pour un grand bol d air ! Merci à la famille Burger de nous avoir permis de passer un très bon séjour alsacien ponctué de vin chaud et de marchés de noël féeriques ( Strasbourg, Colmar, obernai...).

Von der ersten Minute an haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und wurden herzlichst empfangen. Die hübsche und geschmackvolle Wohnung, die Weiträumigkeit und Einrichtung waren ansprechend und wir drei Generationen kamen alle auf unsere Kosten. Die Kinder konnten mit dem reichen Angebot spielen und toben, Wanderwege luden zum Gehen ein, die Umgebung bat kulturelle Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten und das abendliche "Draußen-Sitzen" wird unvergesslich sein. Wir wollen alle wiederkommen. Danke auch an die unkomplizierte und überaus freundliche Familie Burger.

Excellent séjour !
Couples avec enfants, nous avons choisis de passer le nouvel an + la nuit suivante au gîte du Cerf. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires souriants et disponibles. Le gîte correspondait totalement à nos attentes et plus encore. C'est très simple, il y a tout ce qu'il faut ! Les hôtes ont mis à disposition tout le nécessaire pour les enfants et les bébés, des jeux, chaises hautes, lits bébés... Le tout est impeccable et joliment décoré, sans parler de la jolie vue sur le parc à biches et nos enfants ont adorés faire connaissance avec le couple de moutons qui venaient chercher leurs câlins :) Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir !
