Kitchen remodeled and new flooring throughout! 2 bedrooms on main floor w/ full bathroom. Master bedroom upstairs with private balcony overlooking pond. 2nd suite upstairs with separate full bathroom. Enjoy relaxing on back deck that overlooks the pond; within walking distance to the South Ridge Center Pool & Playground. This townhome is right at top of Hidden Valley ski resort, 2 min shuttle to slopes! Short walk to community pool and club house (renters have access to this). Tennis courts and golf course close by as well. On property is 55 in flatscreen TV, wood pellet fireplace, grill, large back deck overlooking pond and private hot tub. 2 parking spots available in front of property. Additional overflow parking available a block away at the community pool / clubhouse. 15 min drive to 7 springs resort, 30 min drive to Ohiopyle, idlewild and falling water landmark. Community outdoor heated pool with lifeguard on duty available to renters (open between Memorial Day and Labor Day) and short walk from townhouse. Our family and dogs enjoyed our annual trip to Somerset for Thanksgiving. The townhouse was spacious, newly renovated and well equipped. The owner, Mark, was pleasant, prompt to respond to questions, and easy to deal with. Would definitely rent this unit again in the future.

We had a great stay! Visited Frank Lloyd Wright’s homes, Flight 93 Memorial, a couple wineries and restaurants. Each year this same group of women visit a different location for a long weekend. This year did not disappoint! Would recommend for others.

we had a great corner lot with beautiful space and cozy. it was well set - pet friendly ( didnt apply to us ) and nice decor ! plenty of tvs. we didn’t use the deck but did use hot tub ! yay we had one warm hot room one night upstairs so we has to figure out thermostat but all very cozy for 4 with room for more

The townhome is a spacious and quiet unit. Its an easy walk from the parking lot wirh only 2 steps. The owners thoughtfully left a wagon to help with unloading. They checked on us several times during our extended stay to ensure everything was ok, much appreciated! Owners responded quickly to any questions we had. Beds are very comfy and we had everything we needed for a wonderful 5 week stay for us and our dog!

Great location for a winter getaway
The house was really cosy, clean and comfortable for our winter ski getaway. Kitchen is nicely updated and well stocked with everything you need. Great value and tons of space for everyone to spread out. Our friends who rented down the hill closer to HV resort paid almost double for a smaller rental on the same dates. I would only suggest that 4 wheel drive might be advisable in winter as it’s a very steep climb and we almost didn’t make it up the hills in HV resort in our minivan coming back from skiing at 5pm as the snow was falling faster than the resort roads were being plowed and sanded.

Overall, we liked your property. We were disappointed that we could not use the fire pit because the wood was not covered and therefore wet. Also the deck cushions are not covered and therefore they were wet and had to wait for them to dry out an entire day. You may want to get covers for both. Also, the drain in the master bathroom tub was clogged.

Great Inside but …..
The condo itself was very nice and quite comfortable….. once we got my 80 year old husband (who has health issues and walks with a walker) inside. Before I reserved this place, I emailed the owners and told them that my husband couldn’t climb stairs and that he walks with a walker. I was assured that he would be fine as there was a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. There was no mention of the narrow uphill blacktop path or the two steps (one much higher than the other) that we had to get up just to get in the place. I would recommend that this situation is mentioned in the property description and possibly a picture taken from the parking spot looking toward the front door be added the the online pictures. Like I said, once we were able to get him in the place, we really enjoyed our stay. Getting him back down the path when we were leaving was impossible. We had to back the car up the hill which left ruts in the mud. Our grandchild really enjoyed themselves. Lots of room, nice table for playing games/cards…. Huge kitchen and tv. The couches in the living room were really comfortable, especially for napping. This place would be perfect for a young family!!!

We have been staying at Hidden Valley for over ten years.This was the first time staying at this location and we are so glad we did. It was by far the nicest place yet. We are already looking forward to next year. There were many reasons we enjoyed this location. Upon walking in the front door the foyer/entry provided the perfect drop zone. There were enough hooks, built-ins and space for everyone’s jackets, keys, etc. Although we were here in the spring and didn’t need this, the ski racks and boot warmer would be a great touch during ski season. After leaving the entry area you enter a spacious living area. With this unit being on the end the additional windows really provide much natural light and brings the scenic outside in. As you look straight in you see a pellet fireplace. For us it was warm enough that we did not need a fire but the fireplace framed the space perfectly. The entire space is tastefully decorated with oversized leather sofas and recliner to enjoy the spacious room. The coffee bar was a great addition. If you are out and exploring the area stop in Ligonier at Crumpets tea shop to purchase one of the over 150 teas, or simply stop anywhere on the mountain and pick up a bag of Dark Side Roaster fresh coffees. This home provides the perfect location to enjoy either. The kitchen was large with everything we needed. The bedrooms were large and far enough away from the living space. This provided great privacy. Although we did not need AC the entire unit has AC

Really nice townhome in beautiful place...
We really enjoyed our stay. This is a newer listing with a few kinks to be worked out with the amount of info provided to find the home and then enjoy the amenities, ie. we did not receive an address but only a description of where the townhome was located and we struggled a bit to find the home and the welcome letter that provided a lot of key info was stuck in the back of a binder with the blank side of the page facing out so we missed it the first time we looked. I would suggest to the owner that he ought to just message this information to Guests within VRBO to eliminate this for future Guests. I felt a bit silly having to reach out to him a few times to figure things out. A bit more care upfront would have made the experience smoother. All that said, I am confident in recommending staying here. It is thoughtfully remodeled with most everything one needs for their stay. Just read the listing carefully to know what you need to bring and what to expect. We did not realize the unit was not air conditioned and we did not bring shampoo. Both of these issues were on us for not reading the listing more closely but came as a bit of a surprise given our experience in other VRBOs. That said, the listing was fair and accurate and the unit was well done. We would stay here again.

Nice property & area
This is a nice townhouse & perfect for our girl's weekend. It is a little more isolated than we had planned but easy to get around and within 5 miles of restaurants & stores. It is spacious and bright. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook, spices included. It was very thoughtful to have coffee pods provided. Beware that there are no mirrors in the bedrooms, only a small one in each bathroom. This is a downside for women. The pellet stove was not working but Mark, the owner, answered my text right away and said he'd get someone to look at it. That did not happen when we were there but as we were leaving a guy was there to look at it. A few downsides, nothing to keep us from going back but things that could be better. The sliding door needs attention, it is VERY hard to open. The back outside area needs attention. There is no light on the sidewalk & that made it challenging to sit by the fir pit. The outside furniture needs attention - it would be best to bring your own chairs. The biggest downside is the fact that the owner monitors your activities!!!!! There is a ring doorbell on the front door - I'm sure this is for when the property is not in use, but it is disturbing to think they know when guests come & go. They also monitor your water usage. We woke up Monday to no water, due to it being turned off in the middle of the night, and were told it was because of an excess amount being used in the middle of the night. Not sure what an excess amount means to the owners but to 4 women getting up in the middle of the night for the bathroom it does not mean it should be turned off. It was extremely bothersome that it was even being recorded of how much & when we used water. All in all it was a nice place that we would visit again & recommend but just know you're being monitored.

Keep Looking; There Are Plenty of Fantastic Options on VRBO. This is Not One of Them.
First Impressions. As we pulled up, the snow was falling, we were in a good mood, it was a beautiful setting. But the parking spaces had not been plowed. There was a layer of ice beneath a layer of snow that had been there for some time. Long walk from the parking area. The walk to the property is uphill, perhaps 20 yards to some steps and then another 10+ yards to the door. In perfect weather, this would have been cumbersome with groceries, suitcases, and in this case, Christmas gifts. We all fell on the ice. Nothing had been shoveled or plowed. Cleaning crew. The cleaner was still working when we arrived, 25 minutes after check-in. "I hope you all are a lot cleaner than the previous renters!" She told us that it was such a mess that she took 56 photos of the property to show her boss. Her greatest concern and the reason she was still there, was that the washing machine was broken and she had reportedly been there since 9 or 10AM to finish the comforters after a new machine was to be installed. (We received a message several days prior that the washing machine would be swapped out on Monday (three days later) at about 10AM, so she was misinformed.) All I asked of the owner, who was thoughtful enough to message me about the machine replacement, was that he call us when the crew were en-route. He did not. Anyway, the cleaning lady was concerned about the comforters, which were "covered in dog hair!" Her boss told her that it was not her problem and to hurry up and get out. We empathized with her, and told her not to worry about finishing all the floors (after all, we wanted to get started on our vacation). The thought that the cleaning crew supervisor did not care about dog hair on the comforters was a little disconcerting, but we moved on. Hot tub We were excited about the ability to use the hot tub, especially after a day of skiing. The hot tub was covered in ice, and 6" of snow. I removed enough to snow to be able to pry open the heavy cover, only to find smelly, green, water, an unfilled tub, and a motor gasping, as it struggled to work without enough water in the tub. Communication I messaged the owner "We should probably talk" so that i could tell him about the hot tub and the icy conditions. He told me that he had tried me, and later that he "would try to call" but he never did. Not a single call, voicemail or missed call from him. Insult to injury He is now implying that we broke the hot tub and filed a claim. AVOID this one!
