"Boutique Hotel Gaia is a lovely heritage building restoration done with great care! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The town Kecskemet is a great discovery and very close to the Bugac Puszta horse show about 25 minutes drive from there. The show is amazing. Overall we loved this trip and plan to go back there when we can. "

"Excellent value. No front desk, but immediate service upon calling a phone number. Parking spots are inside the handsome backyard. Very clean and very well maintained. There is a shared full kitchen, also spotless and a few tables to sit down at. The room has a minifridge and a small TV. Great central location. I would definitely book it again."

"An outside construction was in progress during my stay. Quite unpleasant, just outside of my window. At the arrival, I received a bottle of Italian Frizzante, as an apology. Nice gesture. Bed was confortable, room was clean. However, drain in the shower did not work well. Breakfast was OK, but with pastry few days old. Check out was not very pleasant, basically ruined my stay. I was left with mixed feelings."

"The guesthouse is a bit off the beaten trail but I found it to be quite enjoyable. The staff was helpful and the accommodations, although basic, are exactly what I needed. There are pools which I didn't use but they are attractive. Breakfast was especially good with eggs and bacon cooked to order. There were several other items at breakfast too.The town is small and the lone restaurant decided to not be open one of the nights I stayed. I didn't have a car which that caused a bit of a problem....

"I was taken to another hotel when I arrived and I wasn’t told before. The owner took a photo of my ID with his phone. This other ‘hotel’ was further from the city and basically rooms at the back of a nightclub/bar. The lining was clean and the room spacious but the noise was unbearable. I had to tell 5 times to the guests to please be quiet as I paid to get a night’s sleep. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was very dusty. If you want to sleep and feel safe, do not stay here.
