"Due to the holiday season, reception closed at 15:00 hours, so check in was thru an envelope. Rooms are very spacious, bed and showers are good, but it is an ancient structure and building, so don’t expect modern rooms or furniture. Staff when available was very helpful. "The staff is nice and helpful. The included breakfast was very good. My only complaint was the difficulty checking in at the front door. On Mondays the front desk was closed when we arrived. If I hadn't had a friend who spoke German and was able to obtain the code and assist me with entrance, it would have been very stressful."

"The La Couronne is in a great location in the middle of the main part of Solothurn, close to shops and local amenities (unfortunately, most of which are closed due to Covid). Car parking is at an off-site local car park just a few minutes walk from the hotel but is expensive. We paid over CHF 43 for around 36 hours. The hotel reception communal areas and restaurant are clean and the decor is well kept (the restaurant is only open during the morning for guest breakfasts due to Covid). Our room...

"Great place to stay during a trip to the area, buss connection to the train station for backpackers. Clean place, kitchen with appliances and utensil available for use, a few areas for resting in and outside the building. Just not sure about the Internet connection - my laptop was not able to find the username, however in other places before and after, it was ok. to solve the problem the host let me use their own laptop to check a ticket. Because of an allergy I sometimes also have a problem...
