"Just like another 2 couples , we couldn’t gain access to the property as we were told it was damaged on arrival to the property . We were left stranded and had to sleep on the street due to not being able To afford accadation elsewhere . We spoke to a man who we think was in charge of the property and he couldn’t have gave less of a damn. Shocking with no communication from Expedia and the property to not have yhe DECENCY to let us know !"

"Really enjoyed staying here so much that we have booked again for November and February. The rooms are clean and tidy and the beds are comfortable. The staff in the pub are so friendly it was a pleasure to sit and chat with them whilst having a drink. The housekeepers are especially polite and happy to help with anything you may need. "The staff were very friendly. Told us how to get into the property because we arrived past due usual check in time. The room, bathroom and kitchen were very clean and the kitchen was stocked up on breakfast items. I think the only couple of negatives were that the steps up to the door are steep so you do have to watch your step. And the other would be noise, partly from construction nearby which isnt the landlord fault and people coming in and out at various times and the door slamming which...

"From arrival to depature me and my boyfriend went down for two nights, the owners are a lovely couple who run it and are very pleasant, friendly and chatty. They have an onsite bar they open from 6pm until decide to go to bed. They get involved in the conversations and make you feel at home. The rooms are perfect, clean and comfortable, the location is ideal for the Main Street, everything is within 5-15 minute walking distance and taxis only cost about £5 if you don’t want to walk. "Just returned from an overnight stay at the Lucena with my partner and toddler. Arrived early and asked if we could leave our cases but we were able to check in straight away. We had room number 3 which was a double bed and bunk bed room. We had more than enough room for us all. The beds were really comfy which was definitely needed after countless walks up and down to see the illuminations and the kettle in the room was very welcomed.
