"Hotel is very pretty, check in was easy, room was ready early. Very close to the parks. Rooms were clean, spacious. Pool area was really lovely. I would stay again at this hotel. Only a few negatives. For a 4* hotel i would expect a kettle and somw tea and coffee, maybe a few biscuits. There was no kettle, not even a bottle of water. Breakfast was included in our stay and had some tea there, the food selection was ok, but did not cager to vegetarians at all. No veggie alternatives. The buffet...

"Overall a great stay. The staff were excellent at every interaction. The rooms was modern and clean. We requested a kingsize bed but ended up with two singles, this would have been ok, but they were on wheels and kept rolling apart and they had completely separate bedding instead of combining as a double. The TV entertainment system was poor. Most channels and apps didn't work."

"The rooms are very big. The cimplex is HUGE. I was looking forward to a swim in the indoor pool, as advertised. But there isnt a swimming pool. There is an enormous thermal mineral spa (1000m) on site that people travel here to use. The hotel charge €37 to go in. But on a saturday you have to pre book and it was full. Also, the hotel website advertise a room, including dinner and entry to the thermal spa for same as we paid via expedia, for just a room!!!"

"Very positive review coming. We are a couple in our 50s and 60s. Disregard the majority of the negative reviews, they put bad reviews usually of 1 bad incident. Friendly, welcoming arrival, fast efficient reception staff. Everywhere clean and constantly being cleaned. Smiley friendly staff all round. Good facilities for everyone, especially for families. "We enjoyed our three day stay. The hotel hosted evening activities for kids which was a plus. The unlimited access to Port Aventura was also nice since you can step out of premises to eat at your hotel or in town (25 min walk) by the beach. Overall, great place and experience that I would repeat. "

"We spent 5 nights at this hotel, and for the price, it offered fantastic value. We flew into Barcelona and rented a car from OK Mobility. Conveniently, there was free street parking nearby, along with an unmarked parking area just behind the hotel, which was also free. "Beds very low. Too close to the floor as you felt the cold from the tiles. Air conditioning very noisy and didn't give any heat to the bedrooms even with leaving the door open. Bathroom was very good. Cabins a bit too close to each other. Lots of children kicking balls about and running about around parked cars by cabins. "Great week long stay, there’s multiple pools and plenty of sun beds available at any time during the day. Unfortunately we had rain a few days but we were able to utilise the spa which includes a heated indoor pool with sauna and steam room. "The hotel was quite quiet during the day, it seems most people were in the parks, this meant not much choice for food or drinks in hotel during the day. But loved the connection to the parks and being able to walk just 15mins to be in Portaventura, but also option to walk to the beach in around 15minutes too. "Came the 5th may Had my 5 year old Daughter very safe for her but the POOLS were FREEZING did not want to spend a lot of time in the pool at this time of year which is a shame cause all a child wants to do is play about in a pool Also didn’t think there was a lot going on for kiddies through the day no kinda Kids club "

Wonderful winter holiday location

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cal Talaia. Teresa and Uli were great hosts. It felt as though we had the entire village to ourselves. The apartment was well equipped with an extensive kitchen, large dining table and comfortable beds. A great place for rest, relaxation, walking (our dogs loved it too) and appreciating the beautiful scenery. We basked in the winter sun. A highlight of our week in Glorieta was a ceramics lesson with Teresa in her studio. Her own work decorates the house and gardens and contributes a magical quality to the warm and welcoming environment. "

"Magnificent place! Highly recommended! The cleanest hotel in Spain I have ever been to! Very nice boutique hotel!!! Very nice designed all rooms and hotel! Very nice, quiet village! , very friendly people! Great please for a base for walking trips, hiking, climbing! We definitely come back !!!! "

Top-Notch Hospitality for Our Annual Music Fest

"We have had an absolutely wonderful experience at Crisol La Selva Hotel. The staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure our stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Their exceptional hospitality truly makes a difference. Every year during our music festival, they graciously allow us to use their meeting rooms for rehearsals, which has been incredibly helpful for our group. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, providing a perfect environment for both rest and preparation. We are already looking forward to returning next year! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service and a welcoming atmosphere."
