Beautifully Updated Ski-in/Ski-out Condo (Top Floor)

We are excited to share our family's newly updated ski-in/ski-out condo with you! Our 1 bedroom/1 bathroom condo with a comfortable sleeping den is perfect for families or friends looking to enjoy world class skiing. Located in the Powderhorn Lodge at Solitude village (ski-in/ski-out), you can enjoy first tracks as well as all of the amenities of Club Solitude (year-round heated pool, hot tubs, saunas, game room, movie theatre, etc.). Our top floor balcony provides beautiful east-facing views up Big Cottonwood Canyon.

The private bedroom is a retreat with a king-size bed, flat-screen TV, and east-facing windows. The large sleeping den can be partitioned off for guest privacy and is set-up with a twin day-bed and trundle that can easily convert into its own king-size bed. The living room's custom leather sectional sleeper-sofa accommodates two more people on a comfortable pull-out bed. The kitchen is fully-stocked with cookware, dishes, coffee maker, crockpot, etc. And the bathroom has ample counter space and a large soaking tub.

Guests have access to 1 covered parking spot as well as an on-site ski locker for convenient storage. Whether you curl up by the fireplace or enjoy a night out at the Thirsty Squirrel (located on the first floor of Powderhorn Lodge), we know that you will have a wonderful time . We absolutely love the space and know that you will as well!

Excellent location and charming condo
The condo is located in the heart of Solitude, just a short walk to the lift. It is well appointed and with character and worked well for two adults and two kids. The den area has two comfy beds and a curtain for privacy. The kitchen had everything and the owner had provided all basic supplies for the kitchen and the bath that made our stay hassle free. All furniture was comfy and we had plenty of pillows, linens, blankets. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would stay again for sure!

A memorable return visit to Solitude
The owner was great with communication to me from the beginning which was very much appreciated. Solitude was exactly how I remembered: the condo units, the layout, and nice people it attracts. we taught our boys how to ski there over 20 yrs ago so i enjoyed going back for old time sake.

Great condo in a great location. About a 2 minute walk to the slopes of solitude, and a 5 minute drive to Brighton. Everything looked exactly as described, and the hosts were very responsive. 10/10, would stay again.

Great 4 days in Solitude
Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for each kid to have their own space. The slopes were so easy to access and close enough to run to condo for lunch. We enjoyed the kitchen as it had everything we needed for meals during our stay. In the evening, we enjoyed playing games on the kitchen table. The owner, Mike, was prompt to respond and very accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Solitude.

The village is ideal. check in was sketchy. we arrived late due to airlines. no one to direct us to entrance. didnt help there was 7 feet of snow walls. Get away weekend
Really enjoyed staying at Solitude for an R&R Birthday ski weekend. Well appointed kitchen, as we like to cook. Lots of good space for all the layers of gear. Comfy sofa for curling up with the fireplace.

Location, Location and Condo Neat, Clean & Well Supplied
We absolutely loved this location of this condo given it's proximity to the mountain services we needed to use, shops, food services & the Solitude Mtn. itself. Roomy inside. Couch was so comfortable to sit on. Nicely decked out with entertainment systems/TVs. Owner was VERY accessible & responsive to all of our needs. Laundry services very nice. Condo inside & outside kept up nicely. Lockers are convenient. Parking is GREAT! Only a hop skip to Brighton on Solitude van to city bus stop (hint: watch for bus times/direction of travel from Solitude TO Brighton = UP bus, back taking the DOWN bus.). Quiet at night. Loved the views. May need new mattresses in all sleeping areas soon given the feel of the mattresses but was not a terrible problem this stay. Just a suggestion. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and vacation at this condo.

This was a great experience. Everything was smooth. Easy instructions. Convenient parking garage. Clean apt. Equipped kitchen. Quiet. Not much going on in Solitude so this isn't your spot if you want to walk to different restaurants every night. Buy groceries in advance of arriving. Easy access to Solitude and by bus to Brighton.

Perfect location and accommodations for 1st time at Solitude
We surprised our 16-year-old daughter for Christmas for an “out west” ski experience as we are from NC. This was our first time in Utah and this was a perfect resort and property for our needs. Once we figured out where everything was and how to access the various buildings, we were thrilled with the ease of access to all the amenities in Solitude Village. Would recommend taking plenty of groceries with you on the way in if you don’t plan on going off the mountain as there are not many easy options once within the village. It was only three of us and we were fine with what we had and what the Village offers but a larger family may not be. We would definitely consider this property again!

Great stay at modern condo in Solitude!
My husband and I stayed here for our wedding at Solitude Resort in August. The condo was clean, easy to check-into, and just as advertised. It was more modern and upgraded than many of the other condos in the Powderhorn building. Communication on check-in/out instructions and things to do were great. We had a wonderful stay here and wouldn't hesitate to book for a future trip!
