The bed is worn out from having a single person sleep on it so you both roll into the middle which sucks. Friendly host. It's passable but I wouldn't recommend to my friends. "

"We really enjoyed staying in this little flat. It’s a bit out of the cities, but also convenient to both Düsseldorf and Cologne, plus smaller towns. The village of Wermelskirchen is charming and nearby. Easy stop for restaurants, groceries, etc. Everything was very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, etc. We highly recommend this vacation home. Be aware it’s on the second floor, if you don’t want stairs. Cute and spacious once you get up there, though! "

"The view was great from the top floor with even a small little balcony! It was a great experience. Only thing to look out for, this is 6 floors up a steep staircase with no elevators. I only had carry-on size baggage, and I don't have issues lugging bags up stairs. If you do, I don't recommend. Otherwise, loved it!"

"We came for 2 nights for the England match at Gelsenkirchen. The flat was absolutely perfect and . Also well worth visiting the Zollverein works.we were able to cycle to Gelsenkirchen and back easily. We didn’t meet Vera but all communication was very straightforward. There are supermarkets and a couple of nice bars nearby"
